a level that needs no introduction. some of the most fun ive had with this game in a long time, but it's a very acquired taste. youll know what i mean
it would be immoral of me to not rate this 10/10
silly level! a platformer level buuuut mas is reviewing it... crazyyyyy
i think this level is really fun! basically it's just the same level many times but with different gimmicks each time, and most of them change things up quite a bit or are quite silly so i didnt get bored of it. i think the one qualm i have is that the last room is a bit obnoxious with all the gimmicks at once and the presence of certain ones just made it really annoying (like the every click plays a song one) but all the other rooms were ok! and the coin room let me see The Visions

okay first thing you need to know about like almost every ncs demon is that the song WILL be extremely obnoxious, and if it isnt extremely obnoxious immediately upon listening to it, after multiple attempts it will be that way. this song was extremely obnoxious right out of the gate for me (why does she say "now" like that) but i withstood it pretty well for the fairly decent gameplay here. the extremely realistic deco and flashy effects made this like. half memory for me almost? some parts would just be super hard to see and id have to develop a click pattern (particularly the drop and ending cube) and thatd be ok. however the way i tackle memory, if youve read a few of my map pack-esque reviews (like for ice shocked) is that, though i practice, actually beating the level from 0 is trial and error over and over again. and with this song? brings down the level quite a bit unfortunately..
the level is very pretty and plays ok though. so i dont mind much. solid 7
deranged older cousin of the map packs. my funniest completion by far. extremely unbalanced gameplay that turns from like hard demon to 4 stars. infamous first two jumps that probably earned this level its one billion dislikes. classic old style deco and gp with silly fakes and late jumps onto pads. many hate it. i love it. at the time of writing this level is my second hardest. it's a very easy level to get into because the start of it is like 5 stars and even then the parts after it are like easy demon reasonably. i believe the medium demon status only comes from the part where it seriously picks up at the ending dual and straightfly. im pretty sure i did the cube ball dual wrong in my completion (id wait until the ball was at the very edge of the platform until id let go and itd be in range of the yellow orbs) but overall this level was like. fine for me. was a surprisingly easy new hardest and the ufo-ship dual is very satisfying to execute both in startpos runs and the real thing. the straightfly and end ship with the portals is less so but it feels very vindicating to finish. hot take i hate the song tho LOL after plenty of attempts the lyrics at the start of the level just get obnoxious i fear. i mean like whatever though level is still a solid 8 VERY GOOD!!!!
this level is JOYOUS!!! a very colorful and fun and honestly refreshing deco style paired with map pack-esque gameplay make this level fun to learn, fun to play, and filled with JOY!!!! I like how you click at “flask” when the song says “fort FLASK is under attack” to avoid an invis spike i think that’s neat, and the first ship part with the funky floating orbs that you can build your own path through is really in the spirit of geometry dash in a unique and fun way. i wanna save the monsters trapped in the lil bubbles. it’s peam 100…
this level is alright I guess. pretty standard glow level in most aspects, the gameplay is there and respectable, it’s pretty to look at, neat colors and such! a funny thing about this level is how at the drop it goes “duals? why not” and then you get approximately ten seconds or less of dual gameplay that immediately goes into a single player wave and then the level ends in the middle of the drop. not very memorable but like I said yeah it’s alright
usually I don’t really care for level deco but this one’s just really really bothered me. the parts with default blocks and eyes feel extremely disconnected from the rest of the level. the rest of the level itself is mostly just red “ahhh spooky!!” and it doesn’t really change at all except near the end where it adds blocks that flash colors that don’t fit even slightly and just look extremely out of place. the gameplay is also paced like someone’s having a heart attack, but not in a good way where it would be appropriate for a free99 song but instead like they didn’t really know what to do with the gameplay to make it different and stand out. just a really nothing level to me. if anything it’s very “cp-grinder”ish, like most of the spooky emo elements were kinda just pushed out to say something funny in the description about electricfire (the connection here makes sense considering what I think of their levels). didn’t like it at all
a very messy level. lots of fakes that play weirdly. just starts really falling off in quality after like the midway point and the level design becomes like. random almost? like Theory of Everything jumpscare! end of Theory of Everything jumpscare! super strange. also a weird chokepoint at 27 with the mirror portal obscuring your ship height. level also ends weirdly with a series of orb clicks that don’t feel correct to hit even when it IS the right path, and the level ends in the middle of the song. I don’t know. this is a level that exists
very solid 1.9 level! gameplay is nice and straightforward, maybe a little bit boring especially on repeated runs from 0 (pretty much the entire predrop comes to mind) but this level has super pretty effects during its drop to make up for it and some tighter sections that keep you on your toes. i will say it just kind of ends a bit awkwardly and that you can tell the ending was either rublock running out of objects or just saying ehhh here’s a bit more just because i can, which i feel drags the rest down a bit. solid 7
