i beat this level because great white north is the name of a map in plants vs zombies garden warfare 2. it’s very pretty but the gameplay is mostly handholdy easy click the indicator sync. which i mean. i like the sync! it’s just… too handholdy. if there weren’t indicators i probably would’ve had a lot more fun with it because it just feels too obvious(?)

well made fun flow level that for some reason i have 800 attempts on? some of these i was really going through the wringer huh

aged well! gameplay is neat aside from a transition that sucks at 95 into mini ship. somehow i dont think ive died at that last ufo a single time in any way when ive played this. solid from me

this level is very funny and makes me giggle, extremely charming and honestly kinda fun? the memory's just kinda slapped in there but i think that adds to the charm. it's so 2.0 it gives me hope

im very bad at wave and this level was quite fun for me to complete! felt very fair and i have a bit of a soft spot for rukkus. also the level is very kind to me and i think it's charming so im giving it another point. NICE!!!!!!!

im going to be so honest here. i dont know what this level is trying to say with its message. like. in the slightest. however i do recall beating this as my third demon (??? why this one of all levels), which i can see why with this level's pretty simple to follow gp, even in the 4x speed section that makes up the latter half of the level. maybe a bit too simple to follow. realistically this level's like nine stars but is misrated to demon and i cant tell you why

i also really like some of the effects for deco done in this level, primarily in the second section after the intro and the ending, but despite the fun gp the level has a weird vibe to it and im giving it an 8 for that instead of like a 10. john politics

gorgeous lower end easy demon thats mostly timing focused with some pretty nice sync in there. special mention goes to the first wave at the beginning where the click pattern is literally just the music it's so great. the ending ship isnt as great because playing with orbs in ship is just weird in general but its ok, you just have to hit them near the top so you perfectly slot into the spike gaps.. quite satisfying to execute. consistent to boot as well. the presence of sunset mode as an option ups this by a point. just a neat fun demon that im glad i stumbled across and beat when i was still bad at video games

bit of an old 9 star that for some reason i dumped 407 attempts into because i was bored and its not hard to see why… this level is FULL of fakes. what i probably ended up doing was trialing and erroring and stumbling my way to the finish line for Four Hundred Attempts. ill admit the fakes themselves are well designed and the level isn’t unfair in any way, but it’s so heavy with them that it doesn’t make the level a fun grind for me at least. maybe you’ll like it more?

though I didn’t have fun with it, 6 points because I can appreciate its good gp design

a properly appropriately rated 9 star? in this economy? preposterous

i have a bit of a soft spot for timing-based nondemons (i should write reviews on some zflovv levels) and this level, while not really having that many in them, is still pretty fun. extremely smooth sailing for a 9 star which is always appreciated in a difficulty full of misrates. i guess my one thing with this level is that the mini ship sections where you just hold up inside a tight corridor to avoid an obstacle then let go appear a bit frequently in this level and could have been replaced with some of the more interesting gameplay found in the later ship parts, but it’s not really enough for me to downgrade the rating because even then I think they fit thematically with the song. very good stuff, another 10 from me

i had a huge review written up about bicycle that got erased when my tab suddenly reloaded, but on second look i dont think theres that much to say about this level. it's very silly, is my current hardest on both pc and mobile, and has lots of history behind it, being a 1.3-ish era unconventional gameplay "hard demon" (8 on gddl) that maintained 0 likes for a long while before starting to go into the positives. the limited deco actually lends itself well to the unconventional gameplay by making it so lots of this level's sort of memory-ish gameplay is entirely on you if you mess up instead of an artificial obscuring effect or other design decision. the unconventional gameplay itself is difficult and weird to learn, but fair overall. everything gets consistent, even certain strange parts such as the upside down ship flying into a blind triple spike, and the yellow orb click at around 50. even while i was going for this as a new hardest and ended up choking at 52 like ten times and dying in the 90s seven times i was able to keep pushing forward, which i credit this level's fair design to. if it was just a chokepoint that felt rng or unfair i probably wouldnt be writing this review. in fact, it was mostly just a matter of practice, evidenced by me rebeating this level in 7 attempts on mobile like an hour ago for a new mobile hardest.

my first legitimate long going-from-zero grind was with a friend who i introduced this level to on globed. she beat it in one session in like 600 attempts and hated it at the time, but since then has gone on to rebeat it on mobile and also call it fun. despite my many deaths late into this level, and my mentality at the time being "oh my god please just let it be over," i have to say... it is indeed quite fun and i am very fond of it. if i didnt have as much of a skill issue, or perhaps if i was playing this randomly off a whim with an insane demon hardest, i would not have entered that mentality. this is an excellent level through and through
