You know what? This level is not nearly as bad as people say it is. If you actually play the level (the biggest challenge of remembering this level exists), you’ll see that the decoration is actually really cool in every single part. Nothing too or unique, but it's just a really well-decorated and pleasant (?) looking hell-ish level. However, the gameplay is still really really stupid at the end, and that kinda ruins the entire level. Everything before the infamous stupid green orb click into the impossible UFO is pretty solid, and even fun, but my God, those last parts are so pitifully unbalanced — they are wayyy too hard. So, with that, I will unfortunately have to settle with a 6 instead of what could be a 7 or above, if it was made not even in the right hands, but just in the right balancing process. Honestly, kinda sad.

Surprisingly, this level is actually pretty fun towards the middle of playing it. However, there a couple clicks in this level are really evil, like the blind transition into JonathanGD's part, etc. If you can get past the rickety balancing in the first half as well, this level is awesome. The decoration, although it is extremely dated and bare-bones, has a cohesive theme (hazy “mystic” blue) and nothing is outright ridiculous or ugly. This level is also a pretty decent level to go for if you’re just getting off of Bloodbath and looking for a slightly harder challenge. Also it inspired GD porn or something idk

To be fair, this level is literally unfinished, so I don’t know how or why it was rated. But after having played it for a while over the past months, most of the gameplay is good. It’s very hard to learn, but most of it clicks after sinking a couple thousand attempts. That is except the last parts. Since it’s unfinished, you literally can’t see anything in the last ship, so it’s a lot harder to play it and get any enjoyment out of it. However, I find the decoration really, really cool and I think it uses the lack of decoration very well (until the part where there’s no decoration). Since it’s so hard, I don’t have any experience in going from zero or doing massive runs, but what I could muster was a little enjoyable.

You know, I would really enjoy this level if there weren’t so many horrifically bad chokepoints. The wave and cube parts are so fun and neat, but everything else is just ridiculous. The ball corridor is basically luck, and so is the insanely retarded UFO. Speaking of the UFO, it literally raises the difficulty of the level since you basically have to flip a coin every time you reach it. On a good note, I have to give the decoration a little credit. It’s actually amazing. But unfortunately still, it seems like such an easy concept for a level ruined with outrageous chokepoints.

Across the entire level, decoration is pretty spotty. The theming is nice, but some of the parts are really cool, and some are kinda bad, like Vismuth unfortunately. The gameplay is a little unbalanced at the predrop but everything after is solid. A little forgettable, but it’s a nice sort-of-beginner extreme.

This is a pretty cool and niche nine circles levels from mega early 2.1 that proves very fun and simple to play in all parts. For the time, decoration is on par, but it is admittedly really empty in some parts nowadays. Although it’s not evergreen, it’s a nice level to play, especially if you’re looking for a good insane rated NC level (NOT CRIMSON CLUTTER).

As it stands, sonic wave is not a very enjoyable level. The decoration is lackluster. As far as it goes, first half is completely empty and lazy, and the second half is pretty mediocre. The gameplay is fine to do in runs, but playing from zero is soooo boring. Some sections of the wave are actually pretty fun, but the beginning ball and first wave are both pretty frustrating. Though it cannot be understated the influence of the level, it’s not exactly the greatest circles level ever made, or even a “pretty good” one.

Down Bass is a frustrating old nine-circles level that has strange gameplay in both the non-wave parts and the wave parts. The gameplay uses many fake blocks and, in the wave, spam and gravity portals. Overall, playing the level feels like a chore because of the amount of chokepoints, especially that ONE spam. Decoration in the first half is fine for 2.0, but after the wave, it’s inexcusably terrible. It feels like a concept of a design, not an actual design. Overall, playing this level is like going to the dentist.

This is a funny level. The decoration, although perceived as generic, is pretty cool. I really dig the darkness throughout the level combining with the crimson red, but some parts are a little odd. A big con of this level is that the second half is a little all-over-the-place in general. The gameplay is very concentrated, but not too annoying and hellish, like in levels such as Kowareta. It feels like a long challenge that does not disappoint in high-CPS gameplay and clicks that just feel great to do in runs. It's also fun to go from zero, as the pre-drop is nice and easy. Overall, it's a decent level that deserves popularity in the community for levels to beat. Especially give this a try if you're into more shorter levels.

Titan Complex is a very funny, old level. It has, surprisingly, one of the most unique decoration styles in any level, that I personally find really epic and good for the time. It mainly consists of lack of objects and dark chasms, with very bizarre block and air decoration that I literally can't describe; just go watch it for yourself. Unfortunately, some parts later in the level are lacking in decoration in a way that I can't excuse by decoration style, and they almost look cobbled together in a couple minutes. The gameplay is insanely fun, though. It features more spam parts (actually good spam parts) than usual, and makes great use of the fact that it's a kind-of balanced XXL level. The reason I say kind-of is because after the second drop, the level remains noticeably harder than the first half. Not a huge problem, though. There is no part that is unfun to play, and, although some sections are awkwardly merged together, doing full playthroughs of this level as well as doing runs is really really fun. It's a pretty good diamond-in-the-rough 2017 extreme demon in such a unique way.
