I don't want to dwell too much on this level because everything I said about rage quit applies to this, but I also see this as another step in GD levels being treated more like content and less like art. I can't blame IMOXI too much for winning the contest and getting that bag, but the fact that Waboo and all the judges encourage these brainrot levels and throw money at them is so depressing. I feel the same way with all of the levels that were made during the finals of Waboo's contest. They all try to be rage quit without introducing any new ideas, and why do they have to? Content creators, especially Waboo, have no reason to innovate as long as they found a formula that works for them. It was why I found content creation exhausting as I matured (and I also experienced it first hand as a tiktoker but we don't talk about that). If content creators aren't encouraged to innovate then why should the contest entries?

I know a lot of you weren't there, but Reanimation was an incredible level once it came out. It was a medium demon, meaning it was accessible to just about anyone who was willing to put the work into it. While obviously being influenced by Death Moon, Reanimate was still a fresh take on a theme that has been done to death. It felt kind of disjointed at times but that only added to the almost manic energy. But most importantly, there was a clear progression and a story being told, culminating in an epic boss fight at the end. Now, take everything I said and completely throw it out the window. That's what Reanimate is. Difficulty? Buffed to extreme because all popular levels are. Progression? Absolutely none, it's 3 minutes of the same glow/art combo we've seen in megacollabs a million times. It blows my mind how the team managed to take one of the most iconic levels of the 2.0 era and completely suck the personality out of it, leaving a hollow shell of a level left. 1/10.

It's easy to see this level and spread the cheesy message of "look how far we've come! We've pushed the limits of player skill so much the impossible is now possible!" But seriously, what's the point if the level in question is a poorly made nine circles clone in which the only legacy is giving the hacker of devil vortex $2,000 in ad revenue?
