One of the laziest and worst rated levels in this game's history.
Stereo Madness V4 is a complete joke of a level that I fail to believe had any effort put into it whatsoever, the entire thing is a copy of stereo madness with obnoxious flashing lights, random glow pieces, and random buffs that don't add anything to the level at all.
Even if this was published in 1.9, the level makes no effort to use the abundance of new features that Rob implemented and instead does the laziest possible thing and just changes the song and background, which causes the level to have absolutely no sync which wouldn't even matter anyways considering that the background alone is enough to strip you of your senses and render you an immobile, dissapointed husk of a person.
All in all this level is a complete shitshot and has no right having stars attached to it, and as much as I don't describing levels like this, this really does feel like something pulled straight from the recent tab.
I love this level!!!!!
ShakeN is a 1.9 insane level that was somehow never buffed or modified in any meaningful way, meaning that this near-insane demon is simply too easy for RobTop I guess.
The beginning is the worst part in both gameplay and decoration in my opinion. It does go really well with the music and does build a menacing atmosphere, it's just a bit empty to me. The gameplay is a complete joke in this section though, as almost every single input that you have to do is completely invisible and only shows itself AFTER you've done the click, which gets really irritating really quickly.
However, the level truly starts to shine at the drop, with the description of "Neon Madness" truly coming to fruition here. The level turns into an absolute rave with flashing colors and memory gameplay that's surpringly really well put together and fun. Usually when a level is underrated in difficulty it's because the creator decided to buff it later down the line for "reasons" (clout), and these buffs usually turn out to be abhorrent garbage, but since this level was made like this it actually ends up being a really well thought out level. Every part has a set click pattern that you can learn, and after learning it the level becomes both a breeze, and a blast.
The decoration is spot on as well, as the producer behind Intercept (the song the level uses), describes it as a "club song", and PaLiX made sure to put the club theme of the track inside of the level itself. I truly cannot describe what it feels like to watch this level for the first time, so I highly recommend that you play the level to get a grasp of how wild it is.
The ending ball has a really nasty chokepoint at 94%, but other than that it does feel like a really nice ending to the level, bringin a sort of afte-party feel with how the flashing lights still continue, but the gameplay itself is slow and claustrophobic.
All in all, ShakeN proves itself to be a really nice memory challenge for anyone willing to spend the time to learn it, and the decoration nicely fits into the chaotic rave vibe that the song has. GO PLAY IT.
This level absolutely BLOWS.
First of all, the thing was buffed for no reason, as when it was released back in 1.9 the gameplay was actually fairly easy (the original version has a Viprin upload). This original version actually looks decently enjoyable, but of course since we can't have nice things Sophia decided to add spikes EVERYWHERE in the most annoying possible positions, making the level's gameplay an absolute pain in the ass to deal with.
There are also a multitude of really bad transitions that only work if you go into them a certain way, those being at around the 42%, 76%, and 90% mark respectively.
The carelessness that Sophia showed when buffing the level is an overall massive negative to the quality of the entire thing, and really makes me wish that they would've never touched it in the first place.
As for the decoration, it's alright, but insanely repetetive. The entire level looks the exact same throughout the entire thing and it becomes extremely boring to look at once you start going from zero. And even though I can say that with the pipe-like structures, it does at least feed into the whole "factory" aesthetic that the level has, and I do like the overall vibe of it, the level isn't varied enough for me to truly like how it looks.
All in all, Crimson Days is a mediocre non-demon level that got carelessly buffed for no reason, and ends up being an extremely annoying level to beat, and a boring level to look at.
