Rating Curve

this level is not only visually stunning, but the uniqueness of the concept alone is enough for me to give it an insanely high overall rating. going through different types of media with the option of bringing them to life is such an engaging idea and the way its executed is just amazing. that paired with the fact that the song is a banger and works perfectly with the level, it makes for a near perfect playing experience. one gripe i have is the big boss at the end, as i feel it couldve been much more climactic, but thats just a minor criticism. gameplay wise, its pretty unremarkable, but it has some pretty cool ideas such as the "hell breaks loose" part feeling awesome to play and the backwards dual offset thing in the simulation part. i genuinely wish more levels like this existed, as this is probably my favorite in the game.

Recently beat as my first extreme after a week of playing, and its one of the most fun ive had playing the game. this gameplay is incredibly fun and easy to learn, with a couple choke points that are just hard enough to not feel unfair compared to the rest of the level, and still give a rush after passing. i would say i probably wouldve had more fun if the predrop was slightly balanced, but otherwise this is a PERFECT first extreme.
