Definitely my favourite nine circles level decoration wise. The upbeat nature of the song fits perfectly with the bouncy-constantly moving structures of the wave which supports this levels amazing atmosphere and theme perfectly. The 'sun' theme is executed perfectly with the structuring, designs, and space background alongside some contrasting, night-themed constellations at certain sections of the level.
This level falls short on the gameplay front though. It feels extremely frustrating to play from 0 due to the wave transition being completely blind due to the black screen and camera movement. The hitboxes are also poorly placed where often it would feel like I would die unfairly because the actual hitboxes of some of the saws extend OUTSIDE of the visible saw. This level also executes clicksync in some parts (primarily the dual) very poorly as you would actually have to click off-beat (but still somewhat to the music) to pass the part in some cases. However, the gameplay is still extremely satisfying and fun when you are consistent. I also like the fact that this level doesn't use as many gravity portals as compared to other nine circles extremes making the gameplay flow nicer.
The Hallucination has really really good parts, an amazing song that is complimented well, but quite a dull and boring predrop.
The predrop is much much harder than the rest of the level, making progress extremely slow and annoying, the predrop is also quite dark and boring to look at, as well as feeling very static. However, the waves have an incredibly intense and menacing atmosphere, supported by intense, flowy style gameplay. The waves flow extremely well and are EXTREMELY satisfying and fun to play, there is genuinely not a single other wave level as cool to play as this one and this more than makes up for the lackluster predrop. The postdrop is obviously not as good as the waves themselves however its perfect for building up stress when you are from 0 or in big runs and is perfect at representing the slow part of the song.
