Among the wide variety of flashy levels with crazy visuals, this level is the one I'd say succeeds the most.
The gameplay is engaging, has some variation and feels you feel cool while playing. It does suffer from somewhat boring "press the button when the orb reaches you" gameplay at parts but for the most part it does have fun things happening. The visuals here also don't subtract particularly from the level and the gameplay goes first which I appreciate.
My one big gripe is that it lacks those really memorable/impactful moments(see for example 60% in: I See Stars). This levels feels very uniform in some way, which might be because of the song. The ending almost feels a little bit anti-climatic.
Still I cool level and one I would recommend others playing.
This is the type of level that reminds you why GD is such a fun game. Gameplay that is intuitive, varied and flows great. A cute song and story told with a great balance of appealing art that also reads well as obstacles. The small "combos" of inputs before the ending was such a great touch. Small gripes might be that the spider part in the beginning could use a bit more contrast to seperate gameplay from background, but the part is still really fun. It really is hard to find anything remotely bad/frustrating in this.
I would recommend this level to just about any GD player and I'm sure they would have a good time with it. I'd say this is the most recommendable level in the entire space gauntlet contest.
