Obviously extremely unoriginal (though it was among the first "bossfight" platformer levels where you actually fight the boss and the boss fights back as opposed to those bosses that just kinda exist and do nothing) but despite that I find these levels extremely fun. When this first released it was awful to play but only half of that was the creator's fault since I think there was some kind of sound effect bug that would just crash the game. Rob fixed that bug, and I'm pretty sure the creator changed something when I played this again recently for fun as it was a lot easier and a lot more fair. I'm unsure if the creator has added I-frames or not, I hope that's what changed.

I don't really like terraria's worm ai though so I don't know exactly what to rate the gameplay. I think I overall enjoyed it and I think more people should make more levels like this just for fun even if they're very unoriginal. They're just fun.

Visually I suppose the main thing that could have been done is make the level more optimized but honestly I can see how that would be pretty hard.

Strange, but intriguing. I've always liked the way fiffy incorporates art into their levels to expand their themes and ideas. Features some odd color combinations that work quite well. I like the Cats (they are silly), and the ending feels cozy.

I only slightly remember how this plays but I think it played Okay.

Honestly I like the opening cinematic more than the actual level. I just think the story of this level is really confusing and the level doesn't really stick to it as much as it could. Feels as though you could replace any of these parts and the story wouldn't really change much. All parts would probably be decent on their own though, and the level is pretty overall since Bli is good at polishing. It definitely leans towards overstimulating the player with lots of flashes and effects which I think is one of the things that made this level a little more confusing to follow.

Gameplay is alright. Expected it to play poorly based on how flowy and overstimulating it kind of is but I was able to sightread it in like 3 attempts.

This level makes me very sad, since I feel like it has a lot of potential that just wasn't expanded on. The final part in particular is extremely beautiful and feels like a really well done conclusion to something grander, but such grander thing does not exist. I wish the drop had better structuring and just overall more going on in general, as I feel like it brings down the level a lot. It took me a while to even see some of the details crohn put into the drop, since they're a bit too subtle that on lower brightness they're barely even visible. The way everything except for the structures turn white kind of just make the drop feel off too; the background is very fluid but the foreground is very static which can sometimes work but I just don't know if I like that contrast here. The predrop and the postdrop are pretty neat looking and I enjoy the little trip they take me across a city (or a series of memories? Can't really tell the prominent theme).

Not a bad level, but I really want to like it and the drop being what it is makes me sad.

My favorite sonic wave remake, I actually think this improves upon the original a lot and Lazer's style is mostly why. Love the masking effect in the wave, and the general electricity effects wherever they appear are really cool. Doesn't come off as "I'm gonna remake this level so that it looks objectively better" but instead comes off as "I'm gonna remake this level because I think that would be a fun and neat idea to see it in more people's styles". So yeah it isn't original but I like it better than all of the other sonic wave levels.

Very very torn on the nature of this level's gameplay, since the repetition is extremely memorable, original, and works beautifully with the song, but also I've heard it isn't very fun at all. Still, the way the creator approached making gameplay to this song is a thousand times cooler than if they had just made a typical flow layout or something; the uniqueness of the song fits with the uniqueness of the level's gameplay. I love the dark grid-like effect that is persistent across the level, as it almost feels like an older screen or monitor. The way the level slowly starts building up and lighting on fire is awesome, and the ending where the gameplay suddenly disappears while the effects go crazy honestly is pretty impactful.

Edit: I heard that the attempt count is also the time signature. If true, that’s a really neat subtle detail

Not the best or most original decoration, but this is mainly known for its gameplay. A bit humorous due to its absurdity, but also the fact that lack of balancing is very obviously forced makes it less funny -- this level isn't like a random level made by a nine year old back in like 2.0 who doesn't know what they're doing. Probably not very fun to play at all but making a level this unbalanced is an interesting challenge I think.

Really love the way this interpreted the prompt, probably more than almost all of the other entries. I just wish it was longer and I know a few friends have had serious issues running the level. I think the unique song also sets this apart from all the other entries, allowing it to elicit a mysterious yet fascinating vibe that encapsulates how interesting the science fields that got us to our current knowledge of space are. This level feels like you're getting lost in history in a way.
