If I made a super popular level with a bossfight and it got brutally murdered in someone else's level I'd cry
Really fun and cool level; my only complaint is that the fireballs during the bossfight are kind of frustrating to dodge.
Also might be a hot take but I kind of like how the bossfight is. I'm personally not fond with bossfights that have like a million different attacks at the same time; i do think that maybe the bossfight could benefit from the different types of skeletons doing different attacks though.
I really like how it looks like you're sifting through game files of unused ideas and assets
I can't help but to really like this level. First off, I never even realized that this was a megacollab when I first played it. Secondly, unlike many levels with this style, it plays shockingly well. Thirdly, this level feels VERY clean. It takes on the realism style but it almost never feels too messy. Overall awesome level
Without a doubt my favorite hard demon in the game. Everything in this level from the visual style to the progression to the gameplay just works SO well together and create such a pleasant, memorable experience
I think I've found my 2nd ever guilty pleasure level
Good part first, I FUCKING love the character design of the boss. A giant eldritch god that's fucking up the entire universe? The asymmetry of the design? The usage of the sword? All awesome as fuck.
What I don't like about this level is the gameplay and the camera controls.
The gameplay is way too forgiving and extremely thoughtless. It's all just wait for several seconds and then tap throughout almost the entirety of the level.
The camera controls are also absolutely miserable. They're the only type of song representation that this level has and it just does not execute the representation well. It's only there to cover up the extreme lack of gameplay as well as the surprising emptiness of the foreground. The only moment where the camera control wasn't just a huge pushover was the planetarium (which is actually just a place with a bunch of glass) but even then there was quite a bit of camera control abuse. I do like the part where it zooms out to expose more and more of the star demon's face, though.
Despite these two glaring issues, I... kinda like it? Maybe it was the surprisingly good progression that was hindered by the sub-par gameplay and the camera controls.
