Rating Curve

easily one of my favorite levels of all time. chaotic levels like these are usually not of my liking but wannacry just pulls it off. now i don't know enough about the wannacry computer virus but i still think it pulls off the "device having a million errors" thematic very well.

of course the main problem for a lot of people is the first part, but i got surprisingly consistent at it and the effect is very good. i like how on the ufo it goes back, i have seen many 3D parts on this game but they're all pretty linear, and i'm glad kira tried something new. for me this level had its first peak on the swing with the screens. the intensity is raised immediately, but the gameplay is slowed down, something i think goes REALLY well with both the level and the song. the drop has a similar aesthetic to the first part, but at this point the level just went nuts so everything is way more chaotic, and i like it a lot!

then comes my favorite ending in geometry dash. i've said it a few times but everything from like 70% onward is the best segment in all of the gauntlet levels and all of the contest levels (of 2.2). try as hard as i can, i wouldn't even get close to how hard this ending hits. the effects going absolutely nuts, the music banging your ears, and the frenetic gameplay (which is a little unreadable but again, i got consistent at it after a practice run) are an amazing combination that only makes this level so much better than it already was.

it's a little sad to see ADE wasn't similar to wannacry, because if kira had kept the same theme (or had made it something more than just a movie) it would've been close, but i don't think it could've topped wannacry. i'm glad other people also have this as one of their favorite levels, i used to think loving this so much was a hot take but i'm glad others can agree with me :)

also shoutout to mr kira9999 once again for cutting out those terrible lyrics on the song, i actually really like it a lot but man the lyrics suck ass. thank god kira is the goat at cutting songs

this level mastered the "effect layout" concept and nothing has ever come close to it. oozes aura from everywhere

the most fun platformer in the entire game

this might be one of my favorite bosses of all time. first of all the theming of this level is GOLD, it nails whatever it wants to go for perfectly. i cant believe that i waited until now to watch a full showcase. i love the personality that it has, the decoration is obviously fantastic, the gameplay is a little teeny tiny bit unreadable but it works wonders in the context of this level. and like, yeah the entire level looks awesome but the bossfight is AMAZING, so smooth, fun, satisfying to both watch and play and unironically very readable, which doesn’t happen a lot with bossfights. man i love this level so much, probably one of my favorites atm

also this includes one of the most subtle yet perfect uses of the fire in the hole sfx, something that i always find funny instead of the usual annoyance i feel when used.

the best platformer level that feels like geometry dash gameplay. no getting freaky with spikes here, all i need for a fun platformer extreme. the decoration is also amazing for a pixel art styled level, im usually not the biggest fan of it but its executed perfectly here. keep an eye on jshadow and moistenedegg from now on

this makes me feel so many things that i cant really explain, playing this for the first time is a unique experience, and the best part is that this level is super replayable as well. 🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱

one of my favorite extremes of all time, i remember to this day seeing the original layout, and that with some very solid and upbeat decoration is all i need. the song is fucking amazing by the way

after beating this i can safely say it's just as good as i thought (nainteils is really annoying though)
