Rating Curve

(time for another rereview!)not my favorite(if you are wondering though this is in my top 15 definitely) but still genuinely the best beginner demon to me(still stands!), definitely a standout from 1.9 levels(I forgot to say but the art and theming in this is the most phenomenal thing ive seen done on 1.9, this level has incredible gameplay and deco) and gd levels in general, great art, great gameplay.

this level is one of a kind and does its job well at doing what it wanted, for the longest extreme demon the gameplay is mostly straightforward and the visuals are simple yet effective. Overall i think the experience would be enough to bring it up a notch

my 4th favorite, along with death, brought up by the amazing visuals and artistic vibe but the gameplay comes flat, nothing much to say except, this level was my favorite to win the contest and im so happy it got the mythic is so very deserved imo. edit: id better clear up how this is one of my favorites, yes the gameplay is minimal, but to me thats what bumped up everything else in a way that feels perfect, sure the gameplay could be better and that couldve made it better but i feel like the intentional usage of "boring" gameplay here lets you take a moment to appreciate the visuals of this level, im for sure not rating the gameplay anything higher than a 7 but if i could give the deco a 12 i would

my third favorite level and one of the only levels id give a 10/10 to, nothing short of extraordinary music representation and masterful visual progression, never felt stale to me the whole 10 minutes through

this level is such an enigma to me, you either really like it or you dont feel much for it at all, this brings me back to such a time when i saw this get verified and i wanted to beat it aswell, altough i can say its aged a bit to where im not as crazy for this level as before. This is still a pretty good level to me, i enjoyed when i beat it last year and i would still recommend this as one of your earlier extremes, gameplay is still great to me though

this is the greatest thing ive ever played on gd, 7 minutes of pure gold for me. From the masterful buildup, the execution of the drop to the gameplay that doesnt stale for a second. deffie wins.
