Nearly unmatched atmosphere and environmental storytelling. Sadly doesnt end on a particularly strong note and becomes too repetitive, but the first half is so fucking good I love it anyways

Pretty much the only level that does the kowareta style justice. Absolutely oozes character, I love the vibrant feel and because of all the little easter eggs and inside jokes it comes across as a distinctly personal project, despite being a collab. I find this level quite charming.

Cityfade takes the common city theme and elevates it with very stylised execution. Much more interesting than any realism-based approach if you ask me, I absolutely love its aesthetic, all the little details and how its setpieces become more abstract as the level progresses. My favorite 2.2 level so far. The only thing bringing it down a bit is the shitty randomised part
