– Gameplay Design (6.2/10)

Tags: Nerve Control // Overall

The general structure of this level is brutal, and weirdly clastrophobic. Generally being a slow and very long level, nerves can build up quite fast, and the level doesn't drop down the difficulty at all. Some of the harder parts are all present in the second half, and in fact, the last section is brutally unforgiving when regarding nerves. This level also has all of the gamemodes present at it's time, including almost all sorts of skillsets, requiring high amounts of focus, precision and consistency.

While it has simple and fun gameplay, this level may feel very boring over long periods of time due to it's slow nature, making you wait multiple seconds to truly even begin every single attempt, and being so slow-paced that it makes it challenging to focus until you get far.

NOT recommended for anyone below or even on the same skill level this level requires, only recommended if you are above the requirements, since it would be preferred the player beats the level fast in order to avoid it's longer-lasting flaws. On the other hand, it is a great level to practice general focus/precision on long-term periods of time and nerve-control.

This is a very unique level, taking part of the #Levelution Trend, with the intent of having as little objects as possible to achieve it's end result. Considering all of the circunstances, this is a very impressive level visually, even if not the most charming objectively. It has very simple, yet distinguishable designs, and provide enough clarity for the player while also still being able to build up intensity slowly in conjuction with the song and very smart building techniques. Due to using the full song, the level also graps onto the opportunity of repeating the style of the first part of the level right at the ending, thus giving a perfect sense of closure and further building pressure onto the player to not fail.

– Optimization Density (10/10)

OBS: I do not rank LDMs usually, and this is no exception.

I really cannot speak against the fact that almost anything can run this level. Having one of the lowest object densities out of any rated level (31.6k OBJ // 330 Secs), this level stands out in this category easily, especially factoring on the gigantic length. The only thing that may cause some lag are the background/foreground effects, but that's only if an ancient device that can already barely run the game is used.

– Song Choice/Representation (9/10)

The song goes really well in line with the level, and leaves to room to multiple extra details in the level with it's unusual structure and quite interesting sound effects on top of the melody. This is also a very emotional and generally melodic song, further boosting the generally slow but also charming atmosphere the level has, making the experience of practicing quite relaxing.

– Historical Background (2/10)

Due to being probably the most revolutionary level of the #Levelution Trend, this instantly scores some extra points in this category. the #Levelution Trend was started by Optical, one of the oldest and most influential creators of the time, with the objective of making better, simpler and more optimized levels. The Lost Existence pushed the limit of this trend when it released, thus gaining insane traction, and being regarded as one of the most influential levels in regards to it's objective, as much as it was (and still is) controversially hated.

– TLDR

Stupidly long length, weirdly unforgiving gameplay design and very interesing decoration are present, but very influential level accounting for the underlying factors. Not a level for everyone, but a very unique one some people may enjoy.
