Rating Curve

Classic and fantastic demon. It mirrors its predecessor Zaphkiel a lot in the gameplay styles, but diverges immensely when you're not just concerned about the specific gamemodes being used and actually play the level. Catalyze is absolutely balanced around its waves, but as time has gone on, that decision has aged pretty well with wave being the mode a lot of people in general are great at compared to the others. The gameplay has pretty fantastic song representation and has a pretty good song in general. Deco has also aged pretty well and sets the level apart from others.

Super fun level with an awesome gameplay gimmick at the wave. It struggles with balancing some sections correctly but it does overall leave enough breathing room for that to not be an issue. Genuinely one of the best levels that have ever been on the list, even if the deco isn't the best.
