the craft of eden's xo is humble; the old and primitive act of recording yourself singing while playing guitar is the music-equivalent of building a 1.0-styled level. the song segments with more modern electronic sounds are fittingly reflected with more modern effects by the level, and the empty and colorless decoration matches the unfulfillment expressed in the lyrics. i wouldn't have the visuals any other way.

super fun level with an imprint that's lasted nine years for me

i'll ignore the strange decision to dedicate it to koraii and say that this level is oddly creatively liberating. the long repetitive cube section feels like an ascension in spite of its simplicity and could only have been built with a carefreeness that doesn't fear judgement, and i adore it for that!
