Good chunk of the actual tech got sacrificed to take people's fancy through speed and big jumps, a lot of the newly introduced tricks are skippable and conceptually doesnt do a whole lot more than acting as a worse speedtek. The gimmick is fun enough on its own tho so I still wouldnt recommend against playing it
Youll quickly realize this level has a distorted view of the game's difficulty scale, most of the jumps are deceivingly hard and the path has no right to be confusing as it is and yet the experience only becomes a lot more interesting because of it. The checkpoints are generous, not too much to feel overly hand-holding but enough to help everything feel a lot less tedious to go through. It's similar to the inflated difficulty in Everybody Edits where some tricks might be annoying at first but quickly get into your rhythm, it makes the setting feel oddly adventurous and I've always been strongly immersed by this type of level design. The stage is as cute as its title suggests, it's an innocent little adventure
Wouldve been the coolest reimagination out of the bunch but the bossfight is really just there for dramatic effect and misses the mark of the level it's trying to parody, at least the difficulty doesnt end up falling into horrible disproportion like the original does so it's not an unfun level or anything
