Unserious level, I dont know what pocke was really thinking with this one but I guess thats what makes him a generational mind after all. Every time the level seems to be building up towards something bigger there seems to be something completely ruining the mood, and while I can appreciate the humor of it a tiny bit it does make the experience very confusing. It's an acid trip with some weaker and stronger moments, the more you overthink whats actually going on the less it makes sense, but then again this is typically just how pocke operates and I am a fan of how he does it
basically just pocke building whatever he felt like for 6 minutes straight. levels of this length really need a red thread throughout to tie it all together into a cohesive experience, and this level has nothing of the sort. because of this the introduction of color at the halfway mark doesn't feel impactful at all, and just comes across as a lazy attempt to capture the magic of lonely travel.
the second half does find its footing more with a strong sense of location, but it still feels quite random and disjointed, and the mere 3 parts in the second half are really stretched thin
when you make an insanely quality 15 second tech demo and then try to parlay that momentum into an entire level
PS +1 extra-credit point for actually making it to the end of the song
