Taking a look at this 7 years later, I can sympathise with those at the time who called this a layout or dismissed this as bad due to this level using the 1.0 style. However, in GD's current creating landscape being inundated with hyper-detailed releases filled with effects mainly aiming to impress, with even more trends pushing the limits of Geomtry Dash, Apostrophe is now a level that stands out among those as a quite visually different. Colon's take on the 1.0 style here (and throughout the Punctuation series) is pretty similar in quality to RobTop's though with its gameplay mechanics being up-to-date instead of extremely primitive a wildly different effect is created where it feels less tutorial-like, instead being even more simplistic due to the rigid nature of the structuring following similar patterns in its block designs throughout unlike the more varied and sometimes freeflow gameplay in the early RobTop levels.

If any of Colon's punctuation levels deserve to get rated, it's this one. The gameplay is very fun, and the gimmick of blocks flipping whenever you hit an orb is masterfully utilized to the fullest extent. Even with the 1.0-style deco, the inactive blocks feel natural enough to not stand out, but the level still feels like it has a unique enough style to stand out against the endless other 1.0-style levels and "effect layouts". Overall, this is probably some of Colon's best work in this game.
