this level is brilliant. the visuals are really amazing and theres a lot of details you just miss when you first watch the level but jino does a lot of things that really catch your eye here. i really liked the mini beatmap in the ballcopter and how the level constantly flashes between red and blue, and the last 20% is a perfect way to end the level imo. the gameplay is also fantastic - this level took me 4 days to beat and is probably the most fun ive had playing this game. its very learny but it gets extremely consistent and playing from 0 is never boring because of how fast paced and high cps this level is. the song representation is also phenomenal. i dont really have much else to say about this level, but if you have the skill to play it i would 1000% recommend it looks amazing and is the most fun level ive ever played
When I beat this level I thought it was pretty fantastic, but in retrospect I missed how brilliant it really is. Jino makes a lot of really bold choices, from the color scheme, the precise and technical gameplay, and the final quarter of the level exploding in intensity. I wish the first three quarters were a bit more balanced in difficulty but the fact the finale is the easiest part while ramping up the ante to such an extent is so impressive--really, all of the gameplay is super impressive in this level, and the fact it balances chaos and near-constant timings with playability is insane--I'm inclined to call it some of the best gameplay in the entire game. I really appreciate all the little details in this level that bring it to life: nods to rhythm games, like the top of the swingcopter, all of the transition parts actually having gameplay and contributing to the flow of the level, the fuckin "jump!" sign in the last part, and a ton of small effects throughout that really showcase the care that went into this.
Very impressive how intense this is despite its characteristics pointing towards it being static in a void. Colours, despite being very unconventional and somewhat clashing, feel very sharp and eye-piercing in a good way?
