A unique gameplay experience on account of being genuinely difficult to focus your eyes on, which is really cool. The in-between parts being so flat and static are great as contrast and to make it reasonable to play the level for an extended sitting without straining your vision too much. Outside of this gimmick, the level has strong fundamentals, and the very good music sync helps to offset the difficulty of keeping track of your position on the screen. It falls off a little in the second drop, which is not as effective at being difficult to look at and (particularly in the last ship) feels like a slight break in aesthetic cohesion, though I like the use of red and the unstable curved lines on the floor and ceiling
probably the only level i'm probably not beating because i'm genuinely concerned of it hurting me. this is an interesting facet to me and it is a good/"good" experience to watch. really interesting this coming from 3 creators who were actually decently well known in 2.0, zipper, maxk, and especially misterm. zipper released almost nothing in the entirety of 2.1 and then suddenly one day i got this thing in my sub box
This is pretty neat. I think the best parts about this level is how it's able to still be parsed under the strobe light effect as well as the smash cut back to the non-strobe part being really neat. -1 point for a bit of a corny ending tho, and I think it would've been nice to bring the gameplay under this harmful fold (maybe incorporate multi-clicks or spam elements in these harmful parts? maybe drag on the level longer?). I feel like as a result it is a bit underdeveloped.
Fuck you not funny. You are only getting a 2 for at least putting a warning but this concept is outright dangerous.
See i'm pretty resistant to epilepsy enducing things in levels but this is just another level
The overall premise of being so incredibly flashy to the point where it's genuinely hard to focus on such straightforward gameplay makes this level feel different from anything I've ever experienced in Geometry Dash. Anyone could argue that the Nine Circles levels have done this, but this level is genuinely challenging to look at for a long period of time
Surprisingly this level doesn't hurt my eyes at all. Completely unrelated to a certain level
probably the best level i found through this. uncompromising and genuinely alluring. it feels like the level itself is a force that's out to "get" the player and i really quite like that
