blck n block by br4inx - Did this expose GD players' attention span? Let's see.
What people say: Players find this painfully slow and boring, as the blinking blocks cycle for a long amount of time. It also has mediocre gameplay design. There's an opposing crowd though, as they thought the waiting is not as bad as it is said to be.
My experience: This level definitely shouts waiting simulator. Some rooms have slow pace that can take too long to beat, while some others were more enjoyable to play. Though, my issue is clipping when I mistime my jumps. Overall I didn't have a terrible time.
Is it really that bad?: For sure, the level design isn't that practiced throughout. However, I feel like this level is overhated. At least the gameplay is straightforward and doesn't unnecessarily spike its difficulty, but if you have good attention span. All these waiting can be a huge letdown, but I don't think this should be in par with levels that are actively trying to be frustrating. I would rather give it a pass and just politely address the creator on these issues.
Recommendations: I need to address the slow pace of the level still. This can be fixed either by speeding up the blinking cycles, or by adding gameplay between cycles so there'll be less waiting involved. For the clipping issue, ticking passable on can do.
