Meanwhile on the opposite side of the spectrum, THIS is a good tribute to Michigun. This does a lot of right that Rest In Peace laughably misses in its entirety.
It's a representation of the Temple Series, given updated visuals and being accurate to the kind of Temple it's representing. The gameplay, though not my favorite, it has almost everything that the Temple series had. The familiar 3 jump structures, the triple spikes, fake outs, and some representation of what the other Temple levels had, like in Forest Temple, you jump on the head of the monster, and in Lava Temple with the tricky as hell ball timings.
I really appreciate this level. This feels like it is being faithful to the series while having it's own original ideas. Not with the intent of doing it for the attention, but doing it to properly pay homage to Michigun, a long gone, but never forgotten member of the GD Community.
