NEVER press the flip x/y buttons on symmetrical objects. what if someone uses a texture pack that makes them asymmetrical and now your level looks imperfect

I walways use it the blocks when it glows and red with it, Do you place the cube portal the ship? Must be fast ways to. XD

I don't actually release levels and I think it would be great if everyone did the same as it would significantly reduce the amount of garbage on the servers

Build for myself, not for anyone else. If you are making something that you don’t like its unavoidable that it will be what we in the industry call a Bummer, and forgetting everyone else’s personal tastes and making something you yourself are proud of is the only real way to achieve perfection. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, after all.

I could write a lot more about what goes into making a level memorable, but for now: Make each part distinct. I think there's been a lot of overcorrection from back in early 2.1 when the bigger complaint was that every collab part clashed with the ones next to it, but nowadays the problem I have more often is that people stick to the same style for their whole level or make their parts too similar to everyone else. It makes it all so much more forgettable when everything looks and plays the same. It's not "cohesion", it's just boring.
