This is quite the underrated level imo. This level had been in the works for 2 years by some friends of mine, and they managed to get it done in 2023. I really liked playing this level. There's quite the number of varying artstyles that this level has to offer, and the gameplay is pretty good. I don't know how it is now though compared to before, because I beat this around February last year, and since then, it has gotten a bit of a balance update.
Would recommend going for this depending if you want something that leans more towards a high end insane, and a borderline easy extreme.
I really like Acid Rush II a lot. At the time, I thought this was one of the more cooler 2.1 levels out there. What makes me really like Acid Rush II a lot is its gameplay. Back then, I'm pretty sure it wasn't really that much special, but looking at it now, It's surprisingly still pretty fun to play. The decoration in this level continues to follow the Acid theme. I mean... it is a part of a trilogy after all, and for an Acid themed level, I think this one nailed the mark.
Honestly... why did people hate the invisible speed changes? That was a pretty key component to the level's identity. While I think making the speed changes 0.10 opacity could've been better, I didn't really mind them being invisible tbh. Now it feels like the main key component to the level is just gone.
I question as to why I never have gotten around to seeing this level when it initially released. Incredibly creative and accurately represents the original music video incredibly well.
My favorite Auto Level in the game tbh
