NO MORE walks a fine line between being incessantly petulant and uncompromisingly earnest, nevertheless it never is distinctly either; a unique concoction incredibly difficult to replicate by creators not by the name of Sergio el nino. Within the heap of teenage angst that is NO MORE it has unreasonably effective displays of energy release that is honestly somewhat confusing -- the designs of this level are not remotely impressive, no, they mostly consist of basic tilesets with tawdry shader use, and the gameplay is intentionally designed to be frustrating - the gameplay is riddled with jank, and every instance of the chorus and drop being massive spikes in difficulty, moreover there are many instances of obscured gameplay in the second half of the level. The start and end sections are by far conventionally the best parts - a nice wrapping together of NO MORE. The start has a cool gimmick where every input is a buffer which is rather touch-and-go. All this is perfectly line with the level's personality it has created for itself - brash, abrasive, volatile, rather shallowly emotional and cheesy in accordance with the song - this combination of traits has created a level that is for sure not for anyone, and probably considered conventionally terrible, even. I personally consider this, however, exemplary song representation in every sense of the word, though it's certainly ill-advised to follow in this level's footsteps.
Probably the best designed gameplay in a top level I have ever seen. Every part visibly pulls from the ancient methods with a noticeable emphasis on lone structures that hover away from everything else. Though this choice was borderline necessary to eccentuate the gameplay due to incredibly strict limitations, the spacing between each structure is incredibly well thought out and remains varied and consistently unique throughout the level, hence giving it this natural-feeling structuring that not only feels authentic but also looks extremely clean. The tightness of the gaps also feels very intentionally controlled, more so than most levels around this length; I'd compare it to a dam system controlling water flow, varying in intervals controlled by the creators; never too hard and fast but also never too slow in relation to the upbeat monotony of the EDM song. Fundementally, this level is held back by the pretty unassuming and monotonous visuals but with how well Every End mitigates this weakness and even flips it sonewhat to craft an atmosphere extremely rooted to GD's origins -- Sisyphean in nature. Probably the absolute limit of what you can do with 1.0, recontextualising the era of 1.0 as a concept in the modern day. Not a fan of altering the hitboxes in order for it to function on every frame rate but it seems to be a necessary evil (which also luckily doesn't interfere with the gameplay)
Подпалящимсолнцем (2) - Under the Scorching Sun, Bcreccndtyysqhfq
[All the post processing is recreatable in-game]. It's up to you if you want to accept the invitation
Defining this style is extremely difficult; yabujin-core, while quite close does not take into account the detachment from yabujin's visual and music style, being far more abstract and comprising of mostly light rather than the more representational use of video game aesthetics in yabujin's case to conceive unfamiliarity
Attempting to deconstruct and reconstruct this (failed mainly because of old copy) was probably the most mental experience I have ever had building in GD. Dovens of invisible barriers everywhere, physically impossible parts caused by physics bugs. I like to compare Подпалящимсолнцем (2) to the Amazon rainforest, as they share many descriptors. Dark, sinister, unrelenting, brutal, but slowly decaying and devouring itself alive. My finger is likened to a machete, cutting down the overgrowth in this level as I traverse the layers of impregnable barriers. In doing this, am I no better than a logger, or a purely self-serving adventurer? I thought. Partially another reason I stopped working on restoring this level. Yet I still find some solace in the beauties that enshrine untold behemoths residing here, whether natural or cosmic. I can barely make out the near hysterical vocalisations throughout the first song, Подпалящимсолнцем, but I have been somewhat able to make out "по-своему", which translates to "in my own way". Speaks for itself, really. These dancing lights have a pulse and breath of their own, and by the end, they consume you.
Above all else, you will lose yourself

i'll prob write a review on cherry swirls sooner or later here some stuff i wanna say about it
- overarching: extremely immersive; almost sickeningly so
- shows some terrifying incomparable malice and hatred not in a senselessly edgy way -- something really sinister strengthened by creator's reputation
- only complaints is it inherently makes me not want to go back to it that much. too powerful anger that i really do not want to revisit
- losing grasp on reality
- gameplay is backwards and daunting, earlier parts it holds your hand quite tightly; later it lets go and every gap feels perilous, acfually aids in experience
- at climax it feels alive not directly hostile towards the player but the collateral damage it deals afflicted against an unknown victim is very noticeable
10/10. yes i know its a murder fantasy. yes from personal experience it is accurate. yes i know

A wonderful slow burn. Really open and up to interpretation but has an obvious sombre undertone despite the bright and ethereal imagery. Catharsis is realeased extremely unconventionally not simply just because of the style but also the level taking a left turn in what it does:
I - FIERY PASSION BURNS BRIGHT [LOVE]
II - ALONE WITH COLD STARRY NIGHT, THOUGHTS SWIRLING [SOLITUDE]
III - DAWN, REVEALED IN AN UNNATURAL YET LOVING HUE [DEATH OR THE UNKNOWN]
What does this level really mean to you?
10.0
I love this aesthetic
so many emotions bundled all at once into this level. but this level also feels staunchly neutral and unfeeling, not in a threatening manner but more so of ennui and a sombre loneliness
