Promethean has its intimidation factor almost maxed out, with its unnaturally tight looking ship gaps, extremely simple-to-process gameplay. It's also themed around hell which helps a bit, although the slight creativity in portraying its theme matters much more.

As for the negatives: its greatest strengths are also its greatest weaknesses. It's not that interesting to look at after the first time you watch it. It's not like Promethean uses an interesting gimmick, either. It's just straightfly. All this combined balances this out to become a fairly average level for me

Does not look like El Dorado at all, despite the name being a literal translation of it. The level also just generally looks uninteresting with mostly very similar designs throughout (1.5-2)

They put Serponge through HeLL to get this one out on time. I genuinely can feel the creator burnout that Serponge went through through JUST this level alone and I was right on the nose; he spent close to 2 days with 3 hours of sleep grinding out the level. The gameplay is pretty sloppily designed, using a lot of repeated sections from the parts before, but as a whole it's not terrible to play.

Last part aged quite poorly but rest is very good for the time. Has definitely aged significantly but it's one of the most successful collabs of its time for a reason. Frozen Cave has a vice grip on its theming throughout which cannot be said for most megacollabs of that era. Unfortunately, the constant juggling between a more detailed style and a more cartoony style does not pan well for it, as this causes the visual consistency to be basically nonexistent. Not to mention, both styles used are not executed very well by today's standards, having really shoddy colour usage throughout. With the exception of the first part, all of the parts have very glaring issues that make the level as a whole look kind of like a mess, and not in a good way

I can't in good faith rate this lower despite being in critical condition due to an acute case of 2018 corn syndrome. Genuine effort and passion was definitely put into this, even if the end result is... unfavourable, to say the least. I don't really know why this got so popular but okay I guess
