This level? Decent slash masterpiece. One of Renn's most underrated works by a mile.

Gameplay wise its very learny. Pretty hard extreme demon thats borderline memory but not feeling memory-coded at all. Which works with this dark, menacing ambient this level gives off. Visually it is a rather interesting effect level. Sometimes levels dont need to be flashy to keep themselves interesting, this level is a clear example of it. With an interesting take on one of the most underrated songs from one of the most underrated albums by radiohead, Renn achieves this sort of passive aggressive theme with a rather black bg and a bunch of slightly colorful pulsing structures, which culminates in the chorus where a pulsing explosion of color occurs and the level starts being a lot more shaky and intense.

Overall, it is what it is, but a little rate would fit this after two long years of waiting. After all, the wolf is still calling up.

Way harder than expected. Watching the showcase I thought this was some decent looking medium demon at most.... Maybe it couldve been the better choice but thats a huge nitpick of mine. Gameplay in general is weird in a flow-style type of way, as expected from a level by ImMaxX1, but it is decent overall. Deco wise.....

I LOVE MELONS!!!!!!! WHY ARE THERE WATERMELONS IN THIS LEVEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WATERMELONS ARE NOT MELONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah I was hyped about this level , participating in the melon CC with 16 entries and... asking Maxx for a playtest spot twice or thrice I think?? Lets not talk about it LOL. The deco did not disappoint at all. If I can get super annoyingly nitpicky then watermelons in a melon level doesnt really sit superwell with me. Not the same colour inside, not the same texture, not the same flavour, id go as far as saying its a completely unrelated fruit aside from the name and the shape. Not an issue though, it adds some vibrant colours and vibes to the table anyways. This level is just fun to watch, such a joyous vibe throughout. I gotta say tho, watermelons are better than melons IMO IMO IMO.

Peruanada histórica

Ruta del Sol is a collab level created by TroxxP1 and more as Peru's entry for the World Gauntlet Contest. This level recieved a ton of support and a whopping but unsuprising first place in the contest results. Im actually shocked to see people still liking this level a lot, since the view on realistic levels have degraded a ton ever since this level dropped. Im happy for it.

Gameplay wise, this level is fun as fuck for an easy demon. Flowy well made gameplay and the slow parts stay interesting. Decoration wise, Ive always been mixed about this level. It just felt too overwhelming to me. Not bad in the slightest though, it shows that theres been a lot of care for detail put in this thing. A lot of representation for Peru's culture and history added in a way its visually very pleasing. A very well deserved first place even though the style didnt really convince me too much.

Volare is a level by Keyblade and GaidenHertuny back in 2.0. This level was very special back in the day for the hispanic community, since the song featured in it is quite popular in Spanish speaking countries. You have HAD to be in the time this level dropped. Youtubers we consider today as legendary making joke covers of this that later become meme. Highly skilled old players beating it, even English speaking ones. Damn, even Nexus tried and beat it in one of his very few streams.

Gameplay wise, this level is quite nice as a hard demon. Some parts are spammy while others are click sync based, which creates a contrast of.... fun??? At least I enjoy making practice runs of it. Decoration wise this level might have aged, but its not necessarily a bad thing in this case. The song itself is pretty old too so it adds to the charm. The guitar art is close to iconic at this point.

Review done, now I have one last thing to say: QUE VIVAN LOS BUGS CARAJO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm gonna start off this review by saying I'm disappointed with some of y'all reviewers for not separating the art from the artist on your scores/reviews. This type of behaviour will only get opinions driven by hate which will only end up worse or straight up not aging well. With all that said lets get into an actual review.

"Bulan" is a level created some days ago by AmorAltra, who is a pretty controversial creator who got exposed some years ago for... being mistreatful to his workers, talking inappropiately to minors and drawing porn of minors' ocs iirc? Correct me if im wrong or if i'm missing something though. It is obviously a fucked up and unforgiving thing to do and AmorAltra is a horrible person for all of this as much as talented as he is aswell. Into the level, shall we.

Gameplay is fine, although it has some slight chokepoints, such as bad transitions and almost blind inputs which makes up for a worse experience as a playable level. The deco is pretty fire though. I've always liked Amor's artstyle when it comes to Geometry Dash. This level has a ton of good ideas and designs that work pretty well together too. I think this might be a delayed space gauntlet contest entry since it is very space-themed but idk. If it is, it's probably too simple to get in the top 20s. I just think this level is cool. Amor might not be a lovely person (Although I've heard he's changing for the better now, which is always great to hear), but that doesnt change the fact this level is pretty solid.

"experiment" is a level hosted by experimental (pun intended) creator mbed and created by other pretty unconventional creators such as pocke, serponge and lumpy. This level was a massive hit when it came out, being uploaded by viprin in an event level-style upload, right after its release if you know what I mean. It even got into the 2024 gd awards nomination as best classic easy-medium demon, which i dont remember the exact name of the nomination or which place it got but you get how huge of an achievement it is nonetheless.

This level presents a really interesting concept in the table, which is acting like an infinite puzzle with different stages that you need to get in order to pass to the next stage. Although this level gets the idea and does it in an original way, i dont think its executed the best. There is a lot of inconsistency with the puzzles, with some of them being way too forgiving with its task and others being stupidly difficult. Visuals might not be the best, but its not really an issue when the levels main point is the gameplay. Still wish it didnt feel a bit unpolished most of the time though.

No bias at all for having playtested this level.

This level is a mixed bag. The gameplay is pure hit or miss; sometimes it can be incredibly fun and sometimes it can be very janky, with unfair chokepoints and the 2P asymmetrical dual. The deco is simple, unpolished and raw, which serves up to some wicked effects and cool ideas overall. The story can be a bit corny if you dont know the full context, but either way the way the storytelling is executed, especially towards the end, is pretty original. Song choice is great too.
