Dump is a level created by GiggsRH and Koopazu, two decently popular but still pretty niche creators. These two are part of a side of creators in this community I noticed long ago, where their levels might lack polish but still have the quality and charm of it, especially in the gameplay. This side might also be a friend group, working together in a few collabs that are relatively popular, like Beaster by Hypno or Fresh Fruit Festival by TwisterDude161. All of this is just a personal assumption, if theres anyone who disagrees on it, im always open to clarifications.

Gameplay wise, this is a former list demon, so as it is way out of the league for me, Im not going to score it but Im still giving my rating based on the vibe it gives off. This level is cube only, and yet it stays interesting. It looks very timing heavy but actually fun for a level of this difficulty. Decoration wise, its not what I would expect from a level with a Kero Kero Bonito song. I could have preferred a more colourful, liminal vibe, as the album where the song comes from (Time n Place) was also pretty experimental and out of place for the weirdly happy style Kero Kero Bonito was giving off with their older works at the time. This level doesnt achieve that feeling on me unfortunately. It doesnt make it bad though. The dark, industrial vibe of the level oddly fits with the rather melancholic track that is Dump. The designs overall are very clean and well presented and the negative space works well for what its trying to achieve.

Since people are giving this level low ratings without explaining why or straight up bullshitting on it, Ive decided to make an ACTUAL review of the level.

Rage Quit is a level made by one of the most reknown creators as of now, bli. This was made for Waboo’s Stereo Madness remake content which ended up being 1st place and recieving a 1000$ cash prize for it. Does recieving Money affect the level? Not really. Intent shouldn’t  be something to look up to when judging art, unless it’s immoral, which its not in this case.

Now lets get tinto the level itself. Gameplay wise its just nerfed stereo madness but more confusing. Funnily enough, this level doesnt apply to the argument that robtop would give stereo madness a hard difficulty, which didnt happen here. Difficulty doesnt match the rating of Rage Quit unfortunately, especially the split screen part where you need to look at the center of the screen while the other screens get crushed without any warning whatsoever.

Decoration wise its incredible, although sometimes the execution might be questionable. The theming goes around a man raging to stereo madness and altering reality between real life and geometry dash. I may not have explained it well but it is a good theming for a level. The problem comes when theres parts like the ship going through different screens in a movie-type of way where it is pretty unclear why does it do that, or the end with a fuckass hand showing up as a result of the antagonist trying to catch the cube, which ends up being as the generic section as it sounds.

All in all, Rage Quit is not perfect, it has flaws and thats alright. I may say its overrated asf and overhated asf at the same time and its pretty sad to see that theres no point in between that and its hard to see an actual healthy point of view between the community in regards to this level.

SayItBack is a level made by X1RON a few months before 2.2 dropped that really started the trend of typography levels.

I saw a preview by the creators about half a year before the level’s release and I thought it was really impressive back then, but now I dont think it lives up as such. I get people making an argument that the level hasnt aged a bit, but there’s been an overexploitation of typography-type levels ever since its release, especially after 2.2’s release. Not only some of these levels are unapologetically horrible to play but also they showed up flaws SayItBack had in the first place, both gameplay and visual-wise. So, in conclusion, very good level for its time ruined by its foreword reputation between the creative side of the community.
