Surprising that work this intricately detailed can also look completely unfinished, especially MaJacko's parts in the level. Not to mention how jarring each transition between the parts are- I felt like I was constantly seeing stuff OOB in his parts which feels really messy and rushed. It's quite a shame because I think both Loogiah and MaJacko's creating chops are still there, it's just that I think this level needed to focus a lot less on the intricate details and moreso on the bigger picture and cohesiveness of it all. This is a quality that is very important when it comes to MaJacko's older stuff that has made it so timeless, so that tact being lost between updates really stings. I do get why this level is the way it is though- MaJacko has had a fascination with creating detailed art and you can see that struggle against the editor in a lot of his 1.6 stuff like Stereo Demoness but I think this was the wrong lesson to take from those experiences. For core especially, part of its appeal is how it's still recognizably Geometry Dash.

I think this level was the tipping point for Manix/Lazerblitz style where public perception and interest would start to decline for this style. I think it makes sense because this was like the most concentrated Manix/Lazerblitz stuff I've ever seen, and it is impossible to follow. There's just too much going on, and I think it was this sentiment that caused the decline in interest for the Manix/Lazerblitz style.

Think about it- Manix, BIANOX, and Parallax folded into design style, LazerBlitz, Edicts, and Elanox are gone, Platnuu, Xyriak, and Helpegasus are doing more tech/representational work, WHErwin is doing his own thing, etc. This is like the last hurrah for this style, after this people would start to jump ship to greener pastures. It's quite the phenomenon, as the only other comparable event like this was the massive core exodus from creators like durianhead and pocke. Still, quite a phenomenon how creators will move between styles and subcommunities over time.
