Similar to Clubstep, this level is really unbalanced, placing most of the difficulty in the wave and ship parts, but unlike Clubstep, it's just much, much uglier. I think the earlier parts are decent for what they are but once we get to the interlude with the bricks it really just goes downhill. It's also the only official demon levels to have parts that are just absolute filler- absolutely nothing interesting going on and just padding for time.
Definitely like this a lot more than Menace. The usage of player colors is pretty neat, but the main "stasis" gimmick during the duals feels really off to me. Sure, it's a decent idea for contrasting motion and stillness, but it gives me a really icky feel watching, in a similar vein to qalli's find the answer, where I feel that the icons shouldn't move like that. Still, I think this is still a pretty good level- I’m quite the fan of Heffley’s style.
Another R3XX3R gauntlet level that I beat in 1 attempt. It's pretty good but the jump indicators remove a lot of the intrigue that I feel this level would've benefited a lot from. It's a bit disappointing because I think R3XX3R's gameplay is really unique and engaging without them.
