Unironically the second best hell themed extreme demon behind old Cataclysm. Noobas's levels have been mostly overshadowed by his hacking, and while he's got a catalog full of bangers, I do think there is some merit to his most popular level- a more uncompromising, unpolished form of Cataclysm. It's definitely carried by its menacing song, and TrusTa's version is missing that hype dual wave at the end, but I think it's okay for what it's worth. Future hell themed extreme demons have shown that it could've been much, much worse.

I think this is one of Manix's best aged levels due to the fact that it's a lot more grounded in comparison to his other levels and there's a much more cohesive theme here, but that isn't really saying much- there are still some really bad parts here, especially a lot of the parts that were revamped from early 2.0 to late 2.0- they were changed for the worse.

The sneezing cats part up to the drop is incredibly good with its oddball structuring but I don't enjoy the rest of the level as much. There are some cool ideas here and there interspersed but I think its charm wears off a bit too quickly- I think it's pretty clear that KrmaL wasn't as good when it came to structuring faster gameplay and thus it feels a lot more uninspired.

I can get this level's appeal but for me I struggle to really latch onto the whole thing. Only two parts stand out in my mind (flashing minicube, backwards wave) and the rest comes out as okay. This level feels very much like a bossfight without a boss though, which is something that I think is really unqiue- I feel the only other level that has made me feel this way is Horntail Cave, but I just do not see the appeal if this is just executing a specific mood done better in another level which takes that idea and runs much further with it.

I never really got the hype for this level other than the fact that it was different from other Extreme Demons at the time. It does have some cool moments especially in the gameplay department and icon movement but I don’t really feel much about it compared to neigefeu’s other levels, which have much cooler concepts.

I think of Afterlife as the "epilogue" of nasgubb's levels, and while it has worn thin a bit over time I still think it's pretty good albeit a bit disappointing for his type of output. I think it's bogged down a lot more due to the Discord Gauntlet CC- if it were a bit more abrasive and hostile to the player (especially in its bottom path) I think it probably would've sold me a lot more on it but it's simply not interesting enough in the gameplay department to become memorable in my mind.

A guilty pleasure of mine- this is tied with Sapphire Surge as Insendium's worst level, but the gameplay here is some of the most fun I've ever played. Unlike Flaklypa's or Tetrix's more nuanced approach to gameplay, Mayday's gameplay is much more bog standard and empty for its time, yet the sense of flow in this gameplay is so weirdly good I can't help but enjoy it. Think about that transition from slow UFO to fast wave, how well it lines up with the gameplay despite being incredibly simple- it's just a straight shot for the entire time. Yet, I know all you free-thinkers were clicking or tapping to the beat- and that's enough to be good gameplay! It's so weird.

Aside from that there's literally nothing of interest to talk about with this level. I guess you could talk about the bossfight- it's a novel approach- but it's a bossfight, unless you're Serpent's Wrath what's the point in talking about it in depth? There is none.
