First half is fantastic. xuser's part is probably my favorite- it feels like a fusion of ValentInsanity and ML500's style and I love it so much. The level tapers a good bit near the end tho.
Really good for a megacollab, although I definitely think the concept of only using the "default" colors in the editor, while really creative, would be executed a lot better in a solo project where there's more visual consistency.
You kind of lose me at the middle here but damn does this bang. You can trace a lot of inspiration from other creators but the way that it's implemented here in this rainbow dreamscape makes it fit pretty seamlessly. Sure, it's not particularly polished but I think it works incredibly well for what it is. A quintessential "raw" level.
Can't go wrong with a heart themed level. I wonder what it is about the heart as a shape that inspires really creative gameplay (specifically utilizing the shape of the heart as a motif in gameplay. see Lovestruck for a even better example.)
I don't think it's as good as Lovestruck or Lovel but I really adore this nonetheless.
A level that's so bafflingly odd that I can't help but find it intriguing and funny. Does anyone remember that one post to r/geometrydash where someone was making a JOI level? I feel like this occupies a similar space here- this sort of gazey, schlocky approach to making art for purely sexual fulfillment geared towards men (in this case, living out your own femdom fantasy thru a fucking GD level). But strangely, unlike other levels of its ilk- think Lust Letter, onii chan, Droopy, what have you- there's no appearance of anything that you would consider to suggest that aside from the text, which makes it so unique compared to the others. It's almost like reading bad "plot what plot" fanfiction in that sense, hardly sparking anything imaginative, interesting, creative, just shamelessly putting bullshit out there on the internet to make miscellaneous uncs shoot poison. And I kinda respect Tygrysek for that! Obviously I don't know Tygrysek, and from what I could tell from community reception a lot of people just brushed this off as edgy rather than lewd, but there is a unique, authentic shamelessness that emanates from this level, in its hazy purple aura. To bash it is to give it exactly what it wants. That takes guts. It is one of one on the GD servers.
...but all this for a NEPTUNIA character? Seriously? The fuck are we doing here?
Really creative gameplay and strong progression, although this is a level that I have a hard time taking seriously despite its attempts to establish the feeling of gravitas throughout- stuff like the news bulletin and the silhouetted eyeball alien people are really goofy and take me out of it. I feel like if it were more abstract it probably would've won me over a lot more.
