Hello again, distinguished Geometry Dash intellectuals. Infra here. While nursing my cerebrum down to a more manageable size by playing ...eck... awarded tab levels, I stumbled upon this bespoke course, created by a Mr. Rustere. I cautiously decided to entertain this level, and while I was prepared to laud this level for its muted yet commanding color palette, its laconic yet eye-catching background elements, and its laconic yet commanding block decorations, something heinous caught my commanding, laconic eye.

Jump indicators. I gulped. No. I can't. I refuse to believe it. We all remember what happened the last time I saw a jump indicator at my eight year old son's biological anniversary gala. I can't go back to Grandma's.

But I know what's right, what must be done for the good of the game. I let out an explosive, protracted scream of distilled, righteous rage. "DON'T TELL ME HOW TO PLAY GEOMETRY DASH, YOU BITCH!" I start swinging my mouse around to and fro like a ninja's nunchaku. And I imagine that I am putting Rustere in his place for this severe transgression of my sensibilities. My next door neighbors watch in transfixed terror at the display. If only they knew how serious things were. At last my eight year old diverts from his research on the chemical composition of coral polyps to talk me down to sense. I begrudgingly unpause my game to finish the level, because it would reflect poorly on my critical integrity were I not to.

Come 92%. I'm clicking on the indicators, receiving a jolt of agonizing pain every time I do so. And then I die. Hey, what gives, I clicked on the indicator! It is then I am struck by the transcendental genius of Rustere. Of course, I said! This level is all just an allegory for how conformity can be our downfall, and how we must break from our predetermined paths in order to succeed. I was reduced to tears. 8/10

I'd consider this level the last great hurrah of the smattering of hyper-streamlined design levels in the Adiale/Schady-adjacent school of thought. Does exactly what it needs to and nothing more - besides the bossfight, which isn't terrible but still somewhat bogs the level down both visually and from a gameplay standpoint.

Feels like a love letter to the game it's centered around in a way that a lot of these levels based around games don't really capture. Also looks very pretty in its own right, which helps. Has a slight case of predropitis and some other awkward gameplay sections scattered around, but it shouldn't matter as much if you've beaten harder levels. Overall a very nice showing from Bram.

Hello. My name is Infra. You may have noticed I've eschewed the numbers at the end. They were reflective of a less critical, less intelligent version of myself. You see, since we last spoke, I have received a formal education. My favorite activities are scratching my chin and furrowing my brow, and my dislikes include puppies, ice cream, and your first kiss. I do say that this is one of the barmiest assemblies of objects ever assembled, even for the low, low standards of this quadrilateral entertainment. Truly reflective of the doomed state of our youth. But no more. I must go, to masturbate in melancholic solitude before my skull gives way to the pressure exerted by my rapidly expanding brain.

I'll give it eight points, because the octopus reminds me of my eight year old son, who is an esteemed marine biologist

Some of Change of Scene's wow factor has been lost due to technical creep in the following update, but it's still a cute, fun art level and probably Bli's last gasp of greatness.

While WHAT is more technically impressive, I think I'll always admire this one more for its elegant simplicity. If you can call it that
