For its time this level is generally considered decent visually, and I can agree on that, and I even find some parts visually to be nice to look at. However, gameplay wise, it can have certain parts that are a pain to play. The entire predrop is garbage meanwhile the drop is very fun. If this level was more balanced out and just had a more consistent predrop, this level would be a very fun level overall.
I don't really know what to say about this other than it's just... Clubstep but fade objects, this levels a free demon if you beat Clubstep but this level really isn't anything interesting.
The first ever auto level, and also the most memorable classic auto level for me. This single level carried countless levels for its time that are auto, and also holds the start of what I believe to be the most underappreciated difficulty ranking.
An absolute classic that is perfect for what it is while staying simple and memorable. The song representation is amazing, the gameplay is very well made for what it is despite its few flaws, and the visuals are perfect and consistent, I do however wish there was a little more variation within it, but still very well made for what it is.
Classic level, I have always loved Berkoos style despite their gameplay being a bit weird to play, but overall I like this levels song representation, and it is a good intro for the ice gauntlet.
Despite traumatizing me as a kid with its difficulty, I nowadays find this level all together pretty decent for what it is, though I always found this level to be overrated in its visual field and I do believe there were other options that would have been better within the gauntlet levels as a final level. Still better than most of the other ones though, but that is not a very high bar unfortunately.
I very rarely would consider a level perfect in its own way, but this is one of the cases where I would. Krmal has never failed to disappoint me with a creation of his and this is by far his strongest. Playing this back in 2019 I remember loving every second of it, this was one of the hardest levels I had beaten back then and it was a memorable experience I could never forget. The progression of this level stands out better than any level nowadays could, and Krmals attitude towards deco and theme helps this levels case so much more. I love the empty nature of the level and how it focuses on the little things within it, there are so many little details and small things to take notice of within it. Little details matter so much in levels like these and they pair so well with the entire level theme. I remember reading somewhere (I forgot where) that Krmal also made this in only a few days, so there's a fun fact for you.
I love this level so much, beating it was very enjoyable and I never once felt dread playing it. I beat this after having not played it for a year or two in one night with a friend in a call and had a blast playing it, every part of this level is super fun with little issues, and I would definitely recommend this to someone going for a first insane demon or new hardest if they are new to playing, as this levels difficulty is very balanced with many skill sets being required to beat this. This level requires ship skill, ufo skill, and decent wave skill for its difficulty, and if you need to practice more and are new to the game and looking for a first insane demon, I would recommend this level to you 100%. Visually nowadays this level is not that interesting, but for 1.9 when it was released this was high standards and well made, and I still feel as if this level does what it is amazingly.
This level originally started to gain popularity in the field of impossible levels in 2.0, and this was even considered impossible to beat and was placed among levels like Death Corridor and Bloodbath V2 for some time. This was all just for it to turn out to be not as difficult as anyone imaged, and years later having hundreds of victors. Visually this level is not that interesting and doesn't really bring anything to the table, though it is decent for a hell level of its time I guess. Gameplay wise, I have only done a few practice runs, so I will base it off of what I have heard and from my own practice runs, which is a good mix of "It is fine" and "wow this is abhorrent garbage". I personally lie in the middle from what little I have played, but please keep in mind I may not be the best to judge gameplay here, so that is why I am leaving that category blank.
Level with insanely good history and with so much to talk about regarding said history, however, visually for the time this level is garbage and its gameplay was and still is garbage. The main redeeming factors of this level is only its history and story behind it, and it is a shame that we have so few levels with so much unique history. I will say that this level is still better than most modern day impossible levels for its own unique reasons, and the fact that people fail to understand the sheer difficulty of this level for so long makes it incredibly funny. I believe a lot of my overall rating impact comes from my understanding of the story of this level, how it changed GD, and how interesting it is to look into. Don't forget that a huge portion of this community's impossible levels wouldn't exist today without this level too.
