Level has aged like a fine wine, almost every part is rock solid and the gameplay is relatively fun to play with the notable exception of michiguns part

Well thought out and fitting gameplay, also might be one of the learniest levels ever made

Throughout my many years of playing this game, I've been recommended to play completely dogshit levels labled as "fun" and "polished", they always gave me the wrong feeling, and as such whenever i was trying to improve at the game i would always play older levels that at least didn't rub me the wrong way as much as most of these modern levels, i was never able to explain well how i felt when playing these "polished" levels until i played this masterpiece.

I could write a whole paragraph going into everything that this level does right, however its just faster for me to tell you that there isn't one thing that this level does that it doesn't excel at, nor is it lacking anything. This is perfection

And do not believe the people that say that this level sucks because of the unbalanced beginning, first of all, the unusual balancing is good because it makes every attempt that gets past 30% feel really good, and assures you that you have got what it takes to beat the level, secondly, these people that are saying this are likely controlled operatives, who are pedaling deception and trying to sell you snake oil.

While i do realize that most remakes are made people the creators want to honor a level they really like, however this does not feel like that at all, it feels like the creators went "fuck you i can do better" which they did not.

If you were to ask someone who really liked black blizzard why they like it, none of what they will say will be present in this level, it genuinely baffles me how ALL of the most iconic parts in black blizzard were entirely butchered in this.

I can respect how this level is trying it's absolute hardest to be good

While i usually dont like playing levels that feel too polised and modern, hypnos levels are at the perfect place for me, where they aren't too janky but they still have that charm that comes with a less polished level. The gameplay is satisfying to pull off, while still having various different ways to do a lot of the parts and the decoration gives this level a really unique atmosphere that i wish more levels had.

Its really cool, the contrast between colors is implemented very well, the song representation is what you would expect from a mannyheffley level (its really good) and the gimmick where during the duals where the icons are stopping frequently feels off but it adds to the levels identity.
