Its really cool, the contrast between colors is implemented very well, the song representation is what you would expect from a mannyheffley level (its really good) and the gimmick where during the duals where the icons are stopping frequently feels off but it adds to the levels identity.
A truly Timeless level. If this game were to last 10 more years i still think people would call this a good level by then
Level so fire Rob rated it twice as 2 different levels
The modern day beggars opera (the one from 1728)
Well executed theming, great gameplay and song repesentation, just a really good level in most aspects, i feel this level gets dragged down for having to hear the beginning of the song at the start of every attempt, which sounds pretty horrendous but thankfully the song gets much beter after that
Really neat extreme, i did it as my very first extreme and for that this review might be biased.
This level gives off a feel that pretty much no other level gives off for me, its definitely one of the more unique extremes out there, and many people will say it runs into the issue that a lot of other experimental extremes face where the game play isn't polished but i beg to differ, not only does the level feel fun to play but the drop may be one of the most satisfying parts ive ever played, the balancing may be intimidating at first glance but it becomes manageable after playing it for some time.
The levels visuals are also striking, the decoration really shows how well chron44 can decorate, and even while looking as good as it does it is also insanely optimized, 22k objects for the entire level is insane, when a lot of megacolab parts now reach or surpass that easily.
