This atrocity of a level will forever be tainted as the most miserable experience I've ever had and will ever have with a Geometry Dash level. There is truly nothing redeeming about this absolute pile of shit: the gameplay is extremely unfair and unfun to play, the decoration is just an asset reshuffle of Tartarus while adamantly claiming it is not a sequel, and the song representation is one of the worst things I've ever seen in this game. I power tripped myself into playing this bitch in March 2023 and it took me 503,147 attempts, 1,402 hours in game and over two and a half years to finally get this putrid corpse of a level over the line. If I was to ever say something to an aspiring player that is looking to beat a top 10, STAY AWAY FROM THIS ONE. No, I don't fucking care this got nerfed to oblivion with the release of 2.2 and moreso with CBF. I truly do not care. I hate it. Stay away.
This level is as awful as everyone makes it out to be. I don't even know what to say, it is a Nine Circles level after all.
Unironically one of the best aged levels of the early 2.1 era in terms of decoration, but all of that falls flat when you put up with how mindnumbingly BORING this level is to play. There's no sustance, no good balancing curve, no nothing, no sections that come across as satisfying or that ramp up the intensity aside from the egregiously chokeable ending, it is truly a snoozefest of a level. Fortunately I beat it in a single sitting at least, back in the 2021 days of yore.
Another surprising level from [cherry], this one has prob the best dual gameplay I've ever touched and it is consistent beyond belief with no particular chokepoints, the decoration would be fantastic if it stayed at its peak throughout the entire level but it is what it is. The usage of SFX is surprisingly tasty and still better than any other level so far in 2.2, which is in my opinion an accomplishment on itself. Really good level!
I'll always be critical of the way Manix handled the Fusion Z situation, but this version of the level is genuinely better than the old, dated looking version that ended up becoming Molten Core. The 1.9-styled deco goes for a myriad of styles which is very much needed in a 4 minute long level, and the gameplay is... alright, though it has a couple REALLY annoying chokepoints in the second half that makes this a bit iffy to play from 0. Overall a decent level, not much to say.
A level so incredibly surreal and so incredibly personal executed with 2003devin's level of mastery of the editor only could be paired with a banger of a song to top it all off; this is a level that wears the lack of coherence in its sleeve and throws every shit to the wall because fuck it, and everything sticks in a bizarre, graphic manner, from the incredibly niche references to other levels by devin to the changes from industrial block designs to disgusting sludge and literal human flesh being used as the backbone of everything, to throw you off balance with some other change of design later. As it is the case with every work devin has put out, this level was never meant to get the masses' approval, and I hella love it for it. A real shame 2.2 broke it, but when it worked I had a blast beating this. By its artistic merit alone I consider this the best extreme demon of all time.
For its time, this level has a really cool execution of the hell theme, not relying a lot on a stark red color but also using yellow and orange to give some vibrance and contrast. However, this level was hack-verified and so, the gameplay unsurprisingly sucks enormous horsedick. A real shame because I sorta like this level otherwise, you know.
Well, this level doesn't stand out for its originality, being a more accessible and slower paced ripoff of Cognition, but the gameplay isn't too shabby either. There's a couple clicks here and there that might bother in the long run, but nothing too offensive. Overall a passable level, nothing egregiously bad but nothing amazing either.
This level is frankly amazing. The gameplay is incredibly dynamic and fast paced, the deco looks good and it is not intrusive, which makes this a really awesome experience. The predrop is hard, yeah, but you're pretty much guaranteed to reach really far once you hit the drop and let all the dopamine hit you with all its fast paced goodness. Really great level!
First weeb level with a song that I don't despise! Anyway this level is really well made, the gameplay is quite clever and fun even if the first 18% is half of the difficulty of the level, the decoration is really amazing for a 1.9 styled level (though it is a bit object heavy) and it is genuinely a good time all around if you're in the skill level to beat this one. I can 100% recommend this level.
