Unironically one of the best aged levels of the early 2.1 era in terms of decoration, but all of that falls flat when you put up with how mindnumbingly BORING this level is to play. There's no sustance, no good balancing curve, no nothing, no sections that come across as satisfying or that ramp up the intensity aside from the egregiously chokeable ending, it is truly a snoozefest of a level. Fortunately I beat it in a single sitting at least, back in the 2021 days of yore.
Well, this level doesn't stand out for its originality, being a more accessible and slower paced ripoff of Cognition, but the gameplay isn't too shabby either. There's a couple clicks here and there that might bother in the long run, but nothing too offensive. Overall a passable level, nothing egregiously bad but nothing amazing either.
hehe funny meme level
Honestly this level is not that bad to play but God it does get annoying as fuck considering the predrop is over 40% of the length of this level, and the fact that the entirety of the drop is two sections copypasted and mirrored makes this feel extremely lazy. It has a really charming atmosphere though.
This level, as hard as it is and having earned the reputation than it has earned for the longest time, is one of the most inoffensive levels out there. The decoration isn't bad but it is also not good at all, and the gameplay, infamous for its use of so-called "fixed" hitboxes, is actually pretty decent once you can stomach bullshit such as 49% or 75%. This level is honestly nothing to write home about really, and I think it is for the best because levels at this difficulty get FAR, FAR worse.
A skill based entry extreme, with all bad connotations that it might entail. Decoration is... eh, and the balancing is downright horrendous. I had no struggle with it, but even with my brief time with this level I could see the horrible wave and ship parts being SO DRAMATICALLY HARDER than the rest. You might only give this a try if you consider your skill can make this a sub-1000 attempt journey, otherwise I can see this being a terribly frustrating experience.
