This level is such a nothing burger man, the glowy decoration is extremely forgettable, the gameplay is click-sync done wrong, the song is cringy as all fuck, and there's not much you can redeem here. The only time this was worth beating was when it was an extreme demon, because this is admittedly a really easy experience.

A skill based entry extreme, with all bad connotations that it might entail. Decoration is... eh, and the balancing is downright horrendous. I had no struggle with it, but even with my brief time with this level I could see the horrible wave and ship parts being SO DRAMATICALLY HARDER than the rest. You might only give this a try if you consider your skill can make this a sub-1000 attempt journey, otherwise I can see this being a terribly frustrating experience.

Ah, a true CALassic (by Cal Chuchesta). This level is influential as all fuck and it constitutes the first example of grandpa demon we as a community collectively had to face back in the old days of yore, 10 years ago or something. The gameplay is a glorified ship challenge with a major difficulty spike in the late Michigun's part (that I never perceived as such tbh) and the deco is barely passable to be a featured level at the time, but what can I say about this level that hasn't been said already? Play it and beat it if you haven't, it is a must, either to build ship prowess or just off its historical significance.

This level is honestly horrible visually, being almost 200k objects heavy despite being nothing but a glorified "effect" layout with cheap art certainly doesn't help its case, and the nauseating and repetitive drift phonk song it has makes the (predictably) click-synced gameplay feel like a nothing burger. That being said, the gameplay works... most of the time, and anyone that's capable of tapping on a beat will have no issues jumping into this level; that doesn't redeem the level from being a piece of shit, but hey you got a free extreme to flex on your Discord e-girlfriend or whatever the youth is doing these days idk

The gameplay is extremely fun and the way this is executed in the level bring this to a rare 10 in gameplay, however this level's decoration is disjointed, dislocated and frankly does not work visually, as it is with most 2018-19 glow levels that just look smudgy and horrible. The thing saving it might be the endscreen, which is admittedly cool as shit even today.

Who could think we achieved extreme demon greatness right away in 2.0? It has been 9 years since the release of this level and very few levels manage to top this one out, it is truly a marvelous masterpiece, both in gameplay and decoration. We don't talk about the 62% blue orb, though.

I'm not gonna sing more praises to this level than what has been already said. This is a level that embodies all that's right about this game. Pursuing realism and visual gimmicks is void and null when you know you can't get better than this. Just give up.

A really fun insane demon laying close to the extreme demon difficulty cutoff. The gameplay and song compliment eachother like bread and butter, the decoration is really simple yet well made and despite being a bit learny it is 100% a great level all around. So far it is my favorite insane demon and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

An incredibly engaging and energetic level all things considered, despite the ABSURD abuse of glow. Every part feels consistent and well put together even before its rebalancing update, making it straight up the most fun extreme demon I've beaten. Try it out yourself if you feel like having a good time with it, it is genuinely a good level all around.

This level marked my descent to madness and it triggered such a landslide in my life I had no idea what did it prompt over me. Anyway, for its time the decoration it was really nothing special, and nowadays it has aged even worse, sporting that 2019-esque signature smudgy usage of glow that fails to give texture to the structuring as much as it makes the level look like your lenses are dirty. The gameplay is especially atrocious, full of dumb chokepoints where the difficulty ramps up by a factor of 10x and incredibly inconsistent setups that makes this level a chore to play. This level should not have been NOWHERE near as hard as it was had it been balanced properly and dumb shit like the 79% yellow orb or the entirety of TMN's horrible part makes this level a compelling case for one of the worst megacollabs ever built. This level is a true mental battle against the tide of bullshit it throws at you, and it is not up to your skill but your mental resilience if you beat this pile of shit.
