i did not expect this level to be THIS bad like holy hell
the visuals hurt my eyes a lot, especially the constant flashing
the gameplay is just There doing absolutely nothing
the text is generic at best and misspelled at worst (lefts??? 😭)
this is just a miserable excuse of a tribute level
Extremely frustrating mess of a level where every single click doesnt feel like its the right path. Somehow the ship and ball parts are equally as bad and especially the ball part feels like a terrible buff remake of the original clutterfunk.
i agree with GW White Cube
As far as experimental levels like this go, its far from my favorite, but it knows what it wants to be and does that really well. I really like how the gameplay is structured, being mostly just jumping between small platforms, which feels like it would be really unintuitive but ends up being really fun. The song also compliments the level well, which is a plus.
Well, this is a strange one
Going into this level, i really did not expect anything, and this was definitely something. The worldbuilding is decent, the deco is alright at best and looks unfinished at worst, the gameplay is all over the place and the gimmicks are really odd. It feels like this level is 3 levels just stapled into one, with the zero gravity segment being both 2/3 the length and 4/5 the difficulty of the entire level. This level feels like its trying to have thejshadow amounts of unique gameplay and worldbuilding with less than a fourth of the building skill. Some gimmicks were also quite buggy, most notably the gravity field things that often just ended up getting me stuck or killing me due to the gravity physics not being the best. The end cutscene also ended up bugging out for me.
This level just feels more strange than anything. It doesnt do anything horribly wrong but saying that this level does anything well is a huge overstatement.
This level is my favorite 1.9 level of all time, and it genuinely feels like every single thing in this level was perfected. The atmosphere works really well, the song is extremely good and fits with the theme, the gameplay is challenging but still remains sightreadable and extremely fun, and the level changes constantly but still remains a cohesive experience. It's an absolute crime that this level took over 9 years to get rated.
This level has always been one of my favorites just because of the fact that its a testament to how you can do a lot with very little. Every part of this level it only some very simple gameplay with some simple but nice looking decoration and it still manages to look and play great and hold up really well even to this day in my opinion.
