Very scary, but fantastic level. It takes a while to learn but it is such a rewarding level to play from 0%. There is some bullshit stuff during the cube (primarily those flashes that happen with the sun) but other than that this is such a good level (mainly because i like timing levels like this). Getting to the latter half from 0% there is just nothing like it really, closest thing to it is probably RUST but it still stands out. It can be really hard to learn but it is genuinely worth it since it gets so consistent and it feels so good to get consistent at.
A classic, cannot say more than that because I kinda fluked the shit out of this level lol. Either way very solid level, it aged really well considering this is a top 1 from 2015. Arguably one of the best classic levels in terms of gameplay at least.
This level is really cool on the visual front, it has alot of cool and silly ideas which works in this context because the level does not take itself seriously at all and that works in its favor here. Sometimes the level can get really hard to see, especially from 22% to 46% but other than that, it is very clear visibility wise. Some of the gameplay though is pretty rough around the edges, especially the part at 78% which just feels pretty bad to play due to it being overbuffed. Most of the difficulty comes from it being XL, which is not a bad thing in itself. Very good level, would recommend beating if youre able to.
It looks very outdated, but it is still such a cool level conceptually. I wish I could play this level but it is still one of the coolest levels of all time. It has such interesting visuals especially for the time of its release. Actually one of the scariest levels of all time and that what makes it so good.
Rare ryli miss, this level delivers on the visual front really well but unfortunately the gameplay is very not good. I did not follow through with beating simply because it frustrated me to not end. The predrop is visually fantastic, and it feels like a break from the rest, at least for the first half of the predrop. My complaints start at the spider which just feels a little bit buggy (at least on the pre updated version of the level). The swing copter also had me a little bit frustrated but that is just a personal gripe due to my distaste for the gamemode. The drop is where my issues escalate with the level. The level goes from not that click intensive gameplay to really click intensive right after the ship part and that is really off putting, besides I found the part really inconsistent which annoyed me. The rest of the level follows a similar pattern of pretty high cps gameplay that does not work very well. I wanted to like this level so much because it looks fantastic but I genuinely cannot.
Fantastic level, it is arguably the best entry extreme in the game. It is visually cool and interesting while also being really fun to play. The drop has such cool visuals and the gameplay compliments that a lot. The middle part where it builds up to the drop feels so nice to pull off because of how it matches with the decoration and song, feeling tightened to a small space and then having that ship part and then the drop hits and you start see some of the structures literally melt. Actually some of the coolest things I have seen in a level. If you have not beaten an extreme yet, you should DEFINITELY try this one.
One of the best levels in the game, straight up. Atmosphere is unmatched by any other level, gameplay is a little bit jank but I think that this adds more than what it takes away from the level and it is so immersive. The first part of the level is a very nice way to start; it feels like a proper break after dying and it gets really consistent so you can just focus on the pretty backgrounds and otherworldly looking structures. The buildup to the drop stands out a lot because it is really hard and this is the jank I am talking about in this level. The waves parts especially are really awkward but other than that it is still a really immersive part. It might be awkward but that's part of the charm of this level honestly. The drop part is a fantastic middle point for the level, it hits even harder in normal mode simply because of the buildup. It is nerve wracking in the best way possible. Learning it is rough but it is very rewarding because it is such a satisfying part to pull off. Holding that last dash orb from 0% is probably the scariest thing in the game, and I love it for that. Such fantastic conclusion to an already great level.
Genuinely really bad, it sucks because I really like both of the 2 atomic cannons. This one is a miss for quite a few reasons. First off, it feels unnecessarily hard which is very noticable in the cube gameplay of the level because it gets extremely frustrating to die to it. It is inbetween the first atomic cannon and the 2nd one in speed which after a while it just feels you're clicking randomly. Also the part inbetween the wave and the last cube feel unnecessarily overbuffed. This level after a while feels equally balanced and that makes it really frustrating after a while because you gotta play really fast cps gameplay that is really hard for a quite a long amount of time. Does not help that the ending has the hardest in click in the entire level for some reason. Second of all it is buggy, like you can tell some stuff got nerfed especially in the wave because it does not feel properly playtested. Like you can go under portals and there are no D blocks in places that it should be present. Third of all, it just feels bland and alot of the 2.2 trigger usage just feels off place.
This level could have been great since the song is really good, unfortunately it has too many issues for it to be anywhere close to good.
Super immersive, and super intense too, especially towards the end. It feels intense in the way DIRECTIONS does while it not having the extreme difficulty associated with it. It gives this classic ryli style that is fantastic and that makes the levels also interesting to play, despite the gameplay itself not being very polished. Fantastic level.
Compared to its predecessor, this level feels... alive? Not sure how to describe it but it feels so nice to look at even while playing the level. Like everything in this level feels deliberate and as a result it is a lot more interesting than other levels of similar style (like Knights of Thunder). Everything feels cohesive and it matches the song really well. The buildup to the drop although gets tiring to play at some point it is still fantastic visually. The drop has the best visuals in the level, especially after 50%. The post drop is also pretty cool and it also matches with the song and the gameplay since the level gets quite a bit easier past the drop since the song calms down a bit. Probably the worst part about this level is that it ends quite suddenly; it feels abrupt and even with that complaint, I still give it a 9/10 because the rest is genuinely really good. The deco does not get in the way of the gameplay either and that is something very uncommon nowadays so kudos for that.
