Just an Electrodynamix remake with some Clubstep monsters. In general, I think this is worse than Electrodynamix; the deco looks about the same with some parts left out, and the gameplay just generally feels less fun. I'll grant that the ball part about halfway through is cool, but the UFO part towards the end cancels that out (that wasn't even originally a UFO part! the one part that's original is bad!), and everything else just feels like Electrodynamix but slightly different. And it may be the case that standards for remakes were lower back then, but nowadays, it feels like Sumsar hardly did anything creative with it at all.
The gameplay by itself isn't great, but the deco makes it miles worse. You're practically expected to memorize the entire second half of the level because every single structure had to move in from somewhere instead of already being there so you could see it. And the deco doesn't even look all that great anywhere except the buildup. It just looks like a bunch of orange and then a bunch of indigo and then a bunch of orange again. Especially in the drop. The predrop at least has some interesting ideas like the structures that look like little bugs. The drop has absolutely nothing going for it.
The deco is great, but the gameplay is really not fun. Lots of blind gameplay, awkward UFO sections, and even some outright bugs. Not to mention generally poor legibility.
Feels like Speed Racer, but slightly less cool.
Deco is really not great in some places, but the gameplay is fine.
As fast-paced as it looks, the gameplay is rather boring.
