Something tells me the progression of this level was very heavily inspired by the modern 2D Mario games. Nonetheless, it's a fun level; the deco itself is original, and the gameplay matches the song nicely.

Really good level. The fast gameplay and playful theming work well with the song. Kinda wish it was a little harder so it would feel a little more energetic, but it's fine overall.

Pretty cool level overall. Definitely takes a little learning, but if you know what to do, it's pretty fun. The only thing that bothers me is that the epic octopus bossfight feels like a bit of a difficulty spike; the flying blocks are kinda hard to read, even if you know the path, and the lasers also have hitboxes before they're visible, which is just something that should be fixed. Other than that, I like the gimmicks, and I think the level does a pretty good job representing the song.

My favorite thing about this level is how the whole thing uses only three gamemodes. It really makes it feel as if you're playing some sort of adventure game. The only real complaint I have is that the ship part feels kinda weird in places (particularly that one part with the jump pad; you'll know exactly what I'm talking about). Overall, though, it's not bad.

The gameplay and effects really fit the contour of the song very well. The first part of the level is pretty slow and calm, but everything slowly builds up over time, and then everything is released all at once at the drop — the level switches to more of a night sky theme and the gameplay gets a lot faster. The only thing bringing this level down is the last wave, which feels too slow and could benefit from some more chaotic effects, which I feel like could possibly be done even within the constraints of 1.9.

Really good mixture of designs and effects, especially for 1.9. The gameplay feels a little plain, though.

The deco looks beautiful, but the gameplay is kinda minimalistic. Pretty good experience overall, though.

Excellent gameplay and deco until the last part, which is hard to sightread and feels very disjointed from the rest of the level.

The theming kinda falls flat due to the abrupt shift from monochromatic pixel art to modern glowy tech. I kinda wish that Gameboy idea from the beginning was used more throughout the level. Other than that, though, another stellar Voxicat level.

The gameplay isn't the greatest, but the deco is outstanding for something that appears to have been made mostly in 1.9. I'd even go so far as to say that something looking like this could still get rated today.
