Pretty typical Splinter25 level. Very high-quality designs and effects and well-synced gameplay. Doesn't really do much to stand out among Splinter's other levels, but Splinter already stands out a fair bit among creators, so that would be something very impressive.
Very good execution of a theme. I like how diverse everything feels; each section feels like it represents a different medium, but it all feels tied together under some sort of common theme that I don't quite know how to describe. The gameplay's pretty fun too, making for an overall enjoyable experience.
Beautiful level. Some of the prettiest visuals I've ever seen in this game, and everything feels like it fits with the song so perfectly. I really liked the dual parts where your wave would just fly across the screen; there wasn't really any need for that, but it made those parts stand out so much more and it was just fun to see.
Silly level about being a shark. Honestly, the music, the effects, and the ominous messages whenever you eat a jellyfish make you feel scared of whatever's out there. Guess even apex predators have their struggles. The final boss is a little bit frustrating, but I still think it's cool; it serves as a good test of what all you've learned. Might be a good idea to find more ways to incentivize exploration than jellyfish, because I was too scared to look for more checkpoints until after I'd eaten all the small jellyfish already and I stumbled across one on my way to the boss; otherwise, it was a fun level.
The song is beautiful, and the deco complements it very well. The progression is very nice, and everything looks really good.
Just one problem. The drop gameplay is horrendously unsightreadable. And I'm someone who likes learny gameplay, so if I'm complaining about it being unreadable, that's kind of an issue. The most glaring problems are a misleadingly small platform hitbox in the first spider part, effects that obscure the gameplay in the second spider part, a completely blind transition into the last wave, and a portal orb at the very end of the drop with no real indication of what you're supposed to do. (I got the wrong idea during my practice run and thought you could just hold through the transition for some reason, so I admit that's partly my fault, but they could've at least put an arrow.) Most of the gameplay is fine; it's just those few things dragging down the rest of the level. If it were more readable, I'd be giving this level a much higher rating.
Phenomenal visuals. The computer theming looks really cool and fits really well with the song, the flashing lights really test your concentration (especially in the ship part), and the way the ending syncs with the glitches in the song caps the whole thing off very nicely.
Cute and charming level. Contains some weird gameplay that needs to be practiced (particularly the ball part), but it's a 1.8 level, and I think we can all agree that the cute cats make it more fun :3
The deco is beautiful. It must have taken a long time to make it. The base gameplay is pretty fun, but the deco style can make it a little hard to read at times. Apart from that, my only other complaint is that it's kinda laggy in some places even with LDM, but that's partly due to my computer not having the best possible performance. Still, I kinda wish there was a ULDM.
One of the most beautiful levels I've ever played. The deco is very pretty and matches the song very well, which creates a wonderful atmosphere, and the gameplay is really fun as well. This is definitely going to be one of my all-time favorites.
