For the most part, this is a good level. The deco looks great (for a 1.8 level, I'd say it holds up decently well today), and most of the gameplay is pretty fun. Some parts even feel like they have some decent clicksync.
And then you get to the dual. The dual does not play well. Not only is it really hard to read, but it is also really inconsistent. You'll die the exact same way over and over and not have any idea why, and even if you do figure something out, you won't know how to explain it. It just feels like a major difficulty spike, and it put a damper on my enjoyment of the level.
I like how the intensity builds up. It starts off slow, and gets more intense as the song progresses. The gameplay is fun, but it could be a little more readable; I died multiple times as a result of portal clusters where I didn't realize what all was happening. The ending also felt kinda sudden; it just decides to stop at what feels like a random point in the song. Perhaps this was due to the object limit, but it still feels a little awkward.
Pretty chilled out level. Gameplay isn't too exciting, but it's passable except maybe that one mirror portal around halfway through that makes it a little hard to time your next input. As for the deco, it's pretty much your average 1.9 level; decent quality, but nothing that really stood out to me all that much. It's not a horrible level, but there's not really much of anything to remember.
Awesome level. The visuals are stunning. The change in atmosphere at the drop where it switches from monochromatic blue to a rainbow-colored mess reflects the song's change in tone well, and I know the CRT lines in the ship part in the predrop are probably easy to make, but they do a lot for the atmosphere. The gameplay is mostly fun; my only real complaints are that the clicks in the intro feel slightly desynced (which is bearable) and that the first wave section in the drop feels borderline impossible to read.
The deco looks great and matches the song very well, but there's some questionable gameplay decisions. Apart from some issues I noticed with the sync in the predrop, the drop begins with a blind transition into a dual that's pretty fun and pretty flukeable, but kinda still feels too sudden. Then, the trigger orb in the ship part, while not inherently bad, could've used some more indication of what exactly happens when you hit it. And the invisible size portals in the wave part, even if they're predictable, maybe could've been indicated a tiny bit better? At least it's fair. Overall, not a bad level, although there are some improvements that could have been made.
I like this level's atmosphere. It does a great job matching the song. The gameplay, while not particularly exciting, isn't bad, and since this level is more focused on being relaxing, that's all the gameplay really needs to be. The deco looks great; it kind of gives off a vaguely aquatic feeling. Not the most memorable level, granted (except maybe the second coin), but I think it's good.
I like that this level has some parts that feel like FunnyGame's old style. Specifically the intro and the UFO part. The rest of the level is fine, but I kinda wish it did a little more with that idea of using older objects to achieve a more retro feel. The bossfight is a little learny and confusing, but I'd say the gameplay is pretty fun overall.
The mixed styles confuse me. It doesn't feel like this level really has a cohesive theme. You've got one part that's a glowy pastel purple, and then the next part is suddenly modern-style with red blocks against a pale yellow background. At one point, it starts looking like it's developing a city theme, but then it throws you a dark rainbow part out of nowhere. The gameplay doesn't always feel like it's synced with the song, either. I mean, the individual parts look nice, but it just doesn't really feel like the level as a whole is going much of anywhere.
The deco in this level is beautiful. It really feels like a big journey. Not the best optimized, but beautiful nonetheless. Gameplay isn't really the best, though; there's at least one blind transition that you have to be prepared for, and some of the gameplay feels a little awkward. The transition from the ship to the cube after the dash orb in the part after the blind transition feels particularly strange. Furthermore, the custom portals don't really help all that much with legibility. And it also seems a little weird that there's gameplay at all during the transition where the song goes completely silent for a couple seconds. Other than all that, though, no serious issues.
Also, I've got no idea what RobTop was thinking rating this only 5 stars; it's way harder than that. I'd say it feels more like 7 stars.
Silly little gimmick platformer. Each level has something different to offer, and even though a lot of it is kind of the same, it always feels fresh. The deco looks nice and establishes a good aesthetic; my only complaint is that the font is really hard to read, especially for shorter words.
