Solid Clutterfunk remake, the song choice and longer duration gives it a different vibe. Dambrearon used to be so peak man…
Ele(c)tronica is a surprisingly solid late 1.9 megacollab. It has the classic megacollab trend of feeling very disjointed and inconsistent, but I enjoyed learning and playing this. The visuals are generally very good and no part feels too empty or too cluttered. There’s two standout parts (for separate reasons) to me, those being SkyJax’s and TheBigJam’s parts. SkyJax made a part around 40%, and it’s a white/black part in an otherwise colourful level.
For context, Eletronica is a Tier 3 Underrated harder (roughly high easy demon). Without TheBigJam’s part, this would be a solid 7-8* level. Well, here goes. TBJ’s part is a medium demon-worthy part in a 7*. What the fuck. Who let him make this part? Did NOBODY try even a bit to nerf this? Why is there an asymmetrical mixed dual? The transition into the dual is also very inconsistent but I managed to fluke this from 28 so I wouldn’t know.
Aside from that ONE part, Eletronica is actually insanely fun to play and I recommend you check it out. Took me about 400 attempts and half an hour.
A shit update to an already frustrating level.
Old version 6/10
New version 4/10
(Rewrite but same score)
Six Hours NightBound is exactly how NOT to do a remake. Compared to Smarted’s other remake “Five NightX Pollapo” this is more original, but that does not make it good.
The gameplay is absolutely horrid. It’s full of invisible transitions and needless spam. Nothing about it feels like FNP except, ironically, the janky beginning dual. Literal slop (I use this term lightly)
The decoration is also not that good. It fails to hit the sweet spot between “too similar” and “barely the same”. It’s just messy and incoherent throughout while being nothing like FNP.
I don’t recommend ANYBODY plays this, Pollapo would be disappointed (Also how is this garbagefest rated, Toxick Future clears)
guitarpedostyles take accountability for his actions challenge (harder than invisible silent aeternus)
A well-designed collab level with enjoyable gameplay? Who would've thought
conquer is one of my favourite easy demons. the gameplay, while janky in parts, has great music sync throughout. the decoration maintains a constant red/blue/black theme, giving it a sense of identity. all the deco creators did a good job with their parts. nothombium cooked with the gameplay as well, even if the structuring is a bit weird.
i am not usually a fan of flow gameplay (with VERY rare exceptions). so seeing this be one of my favourite demons is a surprise. minus a few awkward timings and clicks the gameplay feels pretty nice to play and has very good sync. not my favourite level with this song (that'd be CONQUER) but it is pretty good. the song is...questionable but funny. visuals are very simple but the beige in the predrop works well and doesn't look out of place. also fits with the name peeled "SKIN". 600th demon, highly recommend
