This defined an era of levels to come to have better gameplay with more difficulty packed into a shorter length, and more effort made to make sure the level was playable and fair. Dying to the 1st click can get old, but everything else is fantastic. The deco isn't too special, and I wish gablor's part remained dark like the unnerfed version as that makes the level much better. This level's influence cannot be understated, but I wish people would stop remaking it.
I fixed many of the prevalent issues with perms from kugel and stormfly, but as it stands without updates, this is one of the most disgraceful level remakes ever conceived. Unnecessary "fixes" make the level more inconsistent and buggy, after the ball part the entire rest of the level is off sync due to more of zhander's shitty gameplay changes, and the vibrant atmosphere with aposematic colors the level once had is gone and replaced with drab blue and brown.
Shockingly good gameplay of this difficulty for something made before 2.1. The deco was made by danmaster himself rather than just being a cut and paste, so I don't want to drop my score to 0 because of this. It also created some funny timings on accident, like a ypos-align frame perfect.
This level is of the highest caliber of cleanliness and execution. The only thing that doesn't make it perfect for me is that the theme and designs are really safe. It doesn't try too many things new, but damn is it good at doing what's already been explored.
