As much as I appreciate this abstract style and I do think that this level does very good things on its own, in the end it just comes out as way too derivative of flash's levels. I get that it was made for his contest but come on.
Great sense of structuring and how to make gameplay with it. It's super quirky yet very fun to figure out. Visually it's nothing otherworldly but the repetition and intensity doesn't make it feel empty at all.
Especially love the usage of green portals during the second half of the drop; visually they go really well in contrast with the pinky colors during that part. For some reason I'm having issues in that part though, as when I go into a cube portal I somehow get launched up or down and crash. I'll assume it's just physics being stupid though.
So good!!! Absolutely love the energy of the first parts and the contrast to the cloudy part at the end which I also adore a lot. I'm especially in awe with how the gameplay mimics some of the sounds of the song, in a way.
The ball part in the middle is a bit too basic compared to the rest in my opinion but I still love this. Fantastic job.
Very awesome aesthetics and well executed theme. I love how each sound is synced to a different effect on the background patterns during the robot part and I think it carries that vibe well into the ship. There are a few details that bug me out like the particle background in the first part, which just doesn't fit at all in my opinion and would be much better if it was either completely removed or reworked to be square particles instead of leaves, since I feel like they'd fit the theme more; as well as the gradients in the blocks in the robot part which also clash a bit with the style. For what it is though, this is very nice.
I also didn't realize it's less than 1000 objects until now. Very well done.
