ImMaxx1's last 2.1 level. It is pretty underrated imo among all the levels they've made. The gameplay is very unique and the movements in the gameplay are genuinely super satisfying. The decoration is also very clean and has cool effects and designs.

It is short and doesn't try to be anything super impressive but what it does, it does it very well.

This level has ideas and a vision, I just think they weren’t executed nicely.

The gameplay is easily the weakest aspect of this level sadly. It really doesn’t look bad at all and at first glance, it might even look fun. The issue is that it has so many flaws that it becomes very annoying to play. Second-half heavy, many chokepoints, super inconsistent and awkward to play, blind clicks and more. It genuinely had potential but sadly there’s a lot to improve before it reaches that potential.

The decoration is fine, but also inconsistent in quality. The second half looks way better than the first but still doesn’t look that great and the first half’s deco doesn’t look convincing. I don’t really like the structures or the effects used there especially in the build-up, which I think looks quite empty. So yeah, good ideas but definitely could be improved.

The strongest asset this level has is definitely the song representation I would say. Starting the level with the mountain part with that part if the song was a nice idea and the drop does feel climactic and some clicks there do match the energy of the song which is always good to see. There’s still some stuff that bugs me but I think Somie did a good job in that aspect.

Overall, this level has many flaws that keeps it way from being a good good level in my opinion. However, the issues it has can definitely be improved and I think it’s still a step in the right direction for Somie.

Almost good level.

The decoration is good but doesn’t really go anywhere. It has a lot of charm but I wish it had a bit more variations.

The gameplay feels like it was pulled out of Yuko’s list of stupid extreme demon gp and was pasted here. It’s not that bad but it’s very below average. It doesn’t fit the atmosphere of the song or of the decoration and the difficulty makes no sense. This song is not a song to build extreme demons to. The structures also feels claustrophobic.

Below average level that would be better if it wasn’t generic Yuko extreme demon number 23

I like some of the levels that were picked here, especially some at the beginning. Others I'm not to huge on, like I think Peaceful and CraZy III could've been swapped with more iconic levels from 2.1.

And also, the balancing looks absolutely horrible, with the first half consisting of mostly straightforward 1.9 levels in gameplay and then the 2nd half has Michigun's part in Bloodbath, the Etzer ship in Artificial Ascent, CraZy III's bossfight, like it's 10x harder than the 1st half, it makes no sense.

Finally, my last complaint would be the order of which these levels appear. Of course, I can get the fact that the creator wanted to order these levels by chronological order, to see where we came from and what the community as managed to achieved other the years but in practice, those last few levels are a terrible end to this level. Aleph 0, Peaceful, CraZy III and White Space are all amazing levels to their own rights, but sadly, these levels are placed at the very end of the level, where the song starts to fade out to reach its conclusion. These levels do not represent that at all, like for some reason, the creator decided it was a good idea to include White Space's drop at the last few seconds of the song ??? I get it's hard to do song representation right when you are only allowed to pick parts from iconic levels but you still have to put at least some effort behind it and not just mindlessly pick cool parts and put them in a level that has a song that has absolutely nothing to do with it.

The chronological order of these levels is easily at fault here and if you are doing that, you HAVE to do more than just picking iconic parts from all the levels in the game. And if you don't, you get this "level".
